I know was all that she could get out. The next few seconds were a blur as her hand struck Bettes face, her arms went flying toward her body. Before she could thing about anything that was going on, Bette was able to get her onto the bed, face down into the mattress and her body fully on top. How did we get here? The only thing they shared at this moment. Bette was wondering what Tina knew, how she could know. Tina was wondering why she had stayed, why she didnt leave.

Neither of them knew where the next minutes were going, neither wanting to be doing what was actually happening. When Bette tore the back of Tinas dress, she did it out of desperation for the moment to be under her control, for her to make Tina give up her control. Tina was crying not from what was actually happening but because she had no ability to do anything about it. Her hatred for Bette was intensifying, and when she was able to roll herself over, her emotions were all that she had. When Bette kissed her, she couldnt help but kiss her back and give up fighting, only to let Bette believe she had won. Sleeping with you for 7 years has taught me more than one thing about how to defeat you!!

When Tina was able to realize that Bette was able to loose herself in the moment and was beginning to relax, Tina was able to get the upper hand. When she bit down on Bette, she was doing so to show her hurt and frustration as well as to get even with Bette for all of the anguish Tina had endured in the last few months of their relationship. Tina had been able to recognize that their relationship had its flaws, it had its shortcomings, but most of all it left Tina as the punching bag for anything going on in Bettes life, be it work, family or their friends. Now it was Bettes turn.

Tina wanted to show Bette that she knew, and she was pissed. But how can one really show such hatred to someone they had only hours before been 100% in love with and supportive of. Somehow, somewhere, Tinas emotions were able to shift from anger and aggression to aggression and passion. They were now in a tangled web of tears and passion with the only outlet being each other.
