Walking up behind Alice, Tina bent over to look at Alice frantically bashing the keys on the keyboard of her laptop surprised at how quickly words were being strewn across the scene. Reading the title ‘Life Light’ it sounded ominous to say the least as Tina continued to read the black text taking on a life all of it’s own along with it’s creator. 

Rules/ Instructions:

1/ Each person must take it in turns to pick out a card

2/ Then they must read it out loud to the other person

3/ They must answer truthfully

4/ They must provide a sufficient and detailed answer if and when needed

5/ Evaluate once the game has finished whether or not this has changed their lives?

Questions/ Truths:

Tina continued scanning her eyes down the screen, Jeeze Alice sure had a way with words and ran away completely with her creativity. Tina felt the happiness seep in as she realised this is exactly what she had wanted something different; unique even for the second time that day Tina felt heard cascade down her cheeks wetting Alice’s shoulder.

"What’s a matter TK? Did I screw it up completely?", Alice asked perplexed.

"No… it’s great and fucking unbelievable actually and I just hope Bette sees we can all make mistakes its how we learn from them that matters most". Tina had certainly just encountered a revelation of sorts and finally the clarity was clear even through glazed eyes she knew she was going to face her fears and lay everything out to bare. Tonight would be the night, every inhibition, every mistake, every failed attempt at pretending things were ok could all be rectified. With that there was significant promise and that’s all she needed.

"Don’t worry you and Bette will get through this if you both believe you can… remember tonight its all about truth and recognition- reintroducing yourselves to one another".

The two blondes hugged one another squishing one another in the process, no words needs to express how much tonight meant it was simply make or break within a matter of words. Tina left shortly after retrieving all the information she required, deciding to add a few more questions and truths of her own to the completion pile. After compiling a list of things she needed for tonight’s ‘Lifelight’ night it would seem to now be called she made her way across town, running a few errands to make this night stand out among the many they had shared over the years.

Tina had decided she wanted, as a matter of fact needed Bette her beautiful ‘better half’ all to herself tonight she smiled at that thought; Helena’s british sayings were catching on. Kit had agreed to babysit overnight and agreed Tina would pick Angelica up in the afternoon. In all honesty Kit was over the moon that Tina and her baby sis were trying once again, when you stop try you simply stop fighting for everything you once accomplished to achieve. With childcare suited for the needs and desires of being selfish to want to reconnect just them as a stand alone couple, not a family, not as mothers and essentially not in that context. Tonight would be about trying to accomplish something deep and meaningful in a way like no other, Tina was excited and most definitely nauseous with the bundle of nerves that lingered deep down in the pit of her stomach.

Sending a quick text Tina specifically wanted to pre-set the mood for tonight, ‘You’ve been occupying my thoughts all day. Love you, with all that I am. I hope you know that. T xx’
