    Love and Affection Chapter 32

    “Bette!..Shit…is she alright?”  Alice came running over sliding under Bette catching her so she didn’t hit her head on her way down.

    “Crap!..you guys..what kind of triathlon did they do?  It was just Olympic I thought?” Dana and Shane both looked at Alice.

    “Yea it was Olympic.  I mean come you guys it’s Bette she was in the Olympics.  Come babe, Bette baby wake up!”  Bette started to come to…wearily shaking the cob webs and sitting up way too fast.

    “Easy Bette, slow..jesus you scared the shit out of us.”  Bette looked sheepishly and blushed at Alice.

    “Sorry Alice and ladies..fuck..omg, the baby.”  Dana, Lara, Shane, and Alice had their mouths dropped open.

     

    “BABY?!!!!!!!!!!”

    “Yea, sorry I forgot to tell you .  Tina and I were trying to see if it would take..hmm perhaps it did?  Anyone got a pregnancy test on them? Heh”  Bette sitting up and drinking some water.

    “Look we didn’t think it would take the first time.  Tina’s cousin is the donor and well…shit..my head.  We just ugh…wanted to see if it would take..and well may be it has.” 

    “Ok, lets get her a test to see what the fuck is going on..omg what the hell?” Lara and Alice were shaking their head as they just stared at Bette.  Alice kept on jabbering on.   No one was really listening to her, they were all aghast at what Bette had just said.  Shane brought some water over to Bette.

    “Look, it’s early and if I am, well pregnant can we wait on taking the test?  I er, we wanted to do it together and well..Tina is knocked out due to her exhaustion.  I should of told her it was an Olympic level of a tri and it just wore her out.”   Bette was looking weary as well and worried.

    “Yea Bette sure..are you sure you are okay?  I mean the baby is ok if anything right?”

    “Well if it is the baby and I am sure it isn’t, yea all should be fine.  I have been worried about Tina and didn’t take the precautions of the aftermath either.  I am pooped too.  We will call you all later?  I will see you at our game tonight…And before you say anything, yes I can still play…until I find out ok?”  All of the ladies nodded.  With hugs and concerned looks, the ladies dismissed themselves and Bette went to check on Tina.
