    Bette gets the courage to tell Tina the truth.

    Chapter 53:

    Tina has been doing her homework for the last hour or so.  Bette promised to let her finish her work.  All Tina would tell her on the ride over was that her parents and Desi have convinced Tina that she and Bette needed to have a talk.  Of course Bette wanted to know right away what they needed to talk about but Tina insisted that she had to finish her work first.  Bette relented and kept her word that she would not distract the blonde while she worked diligently on her laptop.  Bette decides that she will hear the blonde out first before telling her anything about the women on campus.

    Tina finally looks up at the brunette.  She smirks at her beautiful girlfriend who is trying to appear nonchalant, but failing miserably.  Bette is nervous because she is not sure what reaction she would get from the blond when she admits she has been less than forthcoming the other day.  Bette is still not totally used to feeling beholden to tell the woman in her life everything.

    “I’m finished babe.”  Tina said patting the bed for the brunette to join her.

    Bette is happy to oblige and immediately moves over to her girl and grabs her hand and kisses it.

    “So sweetie what did you want to talk about?”

    “Well first of all, I want to say that I was somewhat anxious earlier today when I saw you talking to those cheerleaders.  I couldn’t help but think about which one of them you had been with.”  Bette put her head down.  She kind of figured that much when she greeted the blond earlier.  She looked into Tina’s hazels for a clue as to whether she should tell her that she did sleep with 2 of the three girls she was talking to.  It was over 3 years ago when she was in her cheer leader phase.

    “Do you wanna know that kind of stuff T?”

    “See that’s the thing Bette.  On one hand I say it doesn’t matter because that was before we even knew each other, but…”

    “But on the other hand, you are curious?”  Bette said finishing Tina’s thought.

    “Well I was going to say jealous as hell but I like your word better.  So yeah I am curious enough for you to tell me when I ask.  So yeah, I’m asking.”  Tina admitted.

    1. The distance is making it harder, and they’ve got growing up to do, and life to experience but Tina and Bette certainly have a shot of making it. They’ll just have to keep trusting each other and keep talking through it all – easier said than done, but totally do-able. Thanks for posting! :)

    4. Love this story. They are wise to realize that they are so young for their love to last through a lifetime. You don’t want to resent your lover. Tina hasn’t had sexual experience beyond Bette.

    5. Thanks for the posting. I love your story and it was a great spot of communication between the two young women. Love is hard enough when you;re in the same space so of course it will take lots of nurturing and support with the distance. If they can just focus on the wonderful love that they share and keep up the good communication, they stand a chance of making it through. The challenges will test them and we shall see how they fair. Thank you!

    8. Woah.. Thanks for sweet loving chapter! It’s a good conversation between them and I hope this will be a starting point for more open communication amongst them. Having a long distance relationship is not easy.. So hopefully this will strengthen their love and their love will survive all the hurdles in life :-)
