“Is there something you are trying to ask me T?” Bette asked.
“Is there something you want to tell me B?” Tina replied.
Bette looked directly into Tina’s eyes and saw slight panic. She did not want the woman she loves to think she is keeping things from her. Bette exhales loudly before responding. Bette knows she has to come clean.
“Tina, the other day when you asked me about the women at school. Well, I was not 100% honest about the amount of attention I get. There is one team mate that I believe has a crush on me.”
“What’s her name?”
“Her name is Katrina.”
“Is she cute?”
“Tina..”
“Is she?
“Yeah she’s alright, but….”
“Baby you know I can just look her up online.” Tina reminded Bette.
“I don’t want her baby. I’m sitting beside the only blond that invades my thoughts on a regular. Tina you are the only one I ever want to touch. The only one I want touching me.” Tina can see how sincere Bette is. She hears pure love and adoration in her voice, but she is not totally at ease yet.
“She’s a blond too?”
“Yes.”
“She’s the power forward with the big boobs right?” Tina said motioning toward her laptop to look it up if Bette tried to lie about it.
“Yes she is blond and I’m not even going to comment on another woman’s boobs to you.”
“That’s nice of you, but have you ever seen her naked?” Tina asked raising her eyebrows at Bette.
“Tina!?” Bette exclaimed incredulously.
“What?! You are on the same team Bette right? How many times did you see me naked before we started dating?” Tina knows she is getting out of control but she can’t help it.
Bette pulled Tina by the hand and grabbed her by the waist so Tina could straddle her lap. Tina was slightly turn on by being manhandled by her strong girlfriend, but she resists falling for it. She didn’t want Bette to think she could use sex to win a disagreement. So she folded her arms defiantly and stared at Bette with a very stern look on her beautiful face.
“Baby, I know you may have doubts at times and I think that’s normal in our situation. You are not some naive little girl, you are my woman. I only want you, Tina Kennard.” Tina seemed to relax a bit, though her arms are still crossed.

The distance is making it harder, and they’ve got growing up to do, and life to experience but Tina and Bette certainly have a shot of making it. They’ll just have to keep trusting each other and keep talking through it all – easier said than done, but totally do-able. Thanks for posting! :)

Love this story. They are wise to realize that they are so young for their love to last through a lifetime. You don’t want to resent your lover. Tina hasn’t had sexual experience beyond Bette.
Thanks for the posting. I love your story and it was a great spot of communication between the two young women. Love is hard enough when you;re in the same space so of course it will take lots of nurturing and support with the distance. If they can just focus on the wonderful love that they share and keep up the good communication, they stand a chance of making it through. The challenges will test them and we shall see how they fair. Thank you!

Woah.. Thanks for sweet loving chapter! It’s a good conversation between them and I hope this will be a starting point for more open communication amongst them. Having a long distance relationship is not easy.. So hopefully this will strengthen their love and their love will survive all the hurdles in life :-)
