Tina kissed Bette again and settled down for the night. Bette stroked Tina’s back – soothing Tina — the last thing she heard before falling asleep was her lover whispering

Tina woke up at 7:45 to see Bette slipping into a pair of brown cords – her long hair was damp and she was wearing a white lacy bra
“Morning “
Bette spun round “Hey there – I was going to let you sleep through breakfast and make something for you when you woke up “
“No – I’d like to go to breakfast with all of you “
Tina jumped out of bed and was heading for her room when Bette touched her – Tina stopped
“You okay ? “ Bette asked
“I slept good thanks to you – I feel not bad “
Tina kissed Bette passionately on her lips “ See you downstairs “
Bette nodded “ Okay “
Bette put on a black sweater and padded downstairs. Peggy was sitting reading the NY Times and sipping a coffee – Helena was eating cereal
“Morning “ Bette grabbed a cup and poured a coffee
“Good morning Bette “
“Hey sis “
Peggy raised an eyebrow at her step daughter
“How is Tina ? “
“Getting changed – anyone want more toast “
“Rose is waiting for your request – she hopes Tina wants something other than toast “
“Toast is fine for both of us – maybe a yoghurt as well “
“You will disappoint Rose – she wants a challenge “
“I told her that the main request for Tina is seconds – isn’t that right Bette “ Helena looked up
Bette nodded “Yeah – she doesn’t really have expensive tastes “
“She has hardly been allowed them “ Peggy commented “ But things are different now she is here “
“Peggy – give her a chance please “ Bette was very protective of her girlfriend

It is just so cute that Helena is as protective of Bette and Tina’s relationship as Bette is of Tina. So glad these 2 sisters worked things out and are back on good terms again. Hopefully Bette will be able to keep Hels on track w/ her studies when they get back to school. And even though Peggy is meddling a bit you can see that it is only b/c she truly cares for Bette and wants to see her step daughter happy. Post soon please.
