    Alice stepped back, cocked her head at Bette and said, So you really punched that bitchs lights out?

    Yes, Al, I did. Come on, lets go back to the table and Tina and I will tell you and everyone the whole story. Its a doozie, Al, a real doozie.

    Alices eyes that had been filled with rage at her dear friend had softened and now held a bit of wonder. That Porter – shes really something else.

    They all were sitting at the table now. Kit, too, pulled up a chair. Bette turned to Tina and said, T, why dont you start.

    Tina looked around the table and began, Well, yesterday morning I had a sonogram scheduled and…

    All the girls were staring at Bette and Tina. Their eyes went from one, then to the other. Their mouths open, jaws nearly touching the table. Talk about ***** Drama! This was unbelievable – but sadly, they knew this wasnt a drama at all. Something terrible had happened to their friends and they were appalled and angry. Kit more than one time muttered, that ***** *****

    Alice couldnt stand that creepfuckass Hellacious Peabody. She had to admit though; she didnt see anything like this coming. She didnt like her from the git -go. But she tolerated her because of Tina. If Tina seemed happy, then Alice would just have to put up with the ***** – until the time Tina woke up and smelled the rotten coffee she was being served. Until then she didnt have to be nice to her, she didnt have to be in her company. And now? She better not cross Alices path – or the path of any of Bette and Tinas friends for that matter.

    Shane sat incredulous listening to what happened. Bette and Tina were her chosen family. No one does that to her family. She was fighting back the tears and Carmen knew it. Shane had become much more open about her feelings, especially with Carmen. Carmen knew she trusted her and felt safe with her. Their relationship had entered a much deeper and intimate phase. Carmen also knew how Shane felt about Bette and Tina, so she could see how much the tale being told right now was crushing Shane.

      “creepfuckass Hellacious Peabody.”–fuckin classic!I KNOW quite a couple of people that would do a major cheer for that expression!*LOL*

      I had to go and look up fissure in the online dictionary..:”and the fissure’s sides came together and the separation of two became one, once again. “….lovely line.
      This story just keeps bein an excellent VERY entertaining and witty piece of writing….with style!! NICE! :-)

    11. Oh Alice, you of all people should know Bette well enough to know a little thing like a cast is only going to slow her down but she easily adapts and can overcome anything to be with her T.
