Youre doing the right thing, Kelly. The DA will let you know whether or not what you tell her is important to the case. Then youll come home and the good doctor will take care of you, okay?
I know its the right thing to do. I just never thought Id be telling a District Attorney all about it. You know, dont you, how much I love this good doctor?

Kelly lay there with her eyes open watching the shadows dance across the ceiling. Her last conscious thought was if she would be seeing Bette Porter and Faye Buckley in a court of law back home in
Bette had just hung up from talking with Nancy Richardson, the DA assigned to the Faye Buckley case. She told Bette that it wouldnt be necessary for her to be at the Motion to Suppress unless she wanted to be there. She would like for Bette to come in and talk with her so she could get everything down on paper regarding any contact between her and Buckley, everything and anything Bette can remember. Bette told her that shed like to get this out of the way as soon as possible so they arranged a date for 3:30 on Wednesday, the day after tomorrow.
After hanging up with the DA, Bette leaned back in her chair and glanced to the spot in her office where Faye Buckley had attacked her. A shiver went down her spine. Her lifes blood spilled on that floor and if it werent for James return and quick handling of Buckley and tying his tie around her thigh, her very life itself would have ended on that spot. She looked up and silently spoke to the forces that overlook each of us: Thank you for not slamming my book of life closed.
She was working on catching up on email and also voice mail from several artists that she had put calls into before all this chaos happened. She was actually making progress. There was a knock on her door.

Good chapters, great reading on a rainy day. Who is this Kelly person, the plot thichens. Is she from Bette’s past or Faye’s. Way to stur the soup, and keep us wanting more.

At the first mention of this mystery person I was entertaining the thought that is was Faye B…He,he…Oops!I guess I was so wrong! Who is Kelly?…hmmm….It’s a little unnerving after what Bette’s been through already, isn’t it? Ooh! The suspense is making me all jittery! Damn, that was just the espresso I had earlier!
