    Show opening – Bette’s nervous; Helena opens her mouth – will Tina shut it for her? Drama still brewing…

     

    Bette put her other arm around Tina’s back at pulled her hard and forward into her.  That took Tina’s breath away and she felt Bette’s leg between hers, nudging her legs apart. 

     

    Oh, Godwhen she’s forceful like that in wanting me at the very moment, my insides become nothing more than quivering JELLO.

     

    “T, you know how to take my mind off troubling things very well,” Bette huskily murmured.

     

    “Yes, and I promise tonight when we come home I will vanquish any remaining troubling thoughts from your mind, but right now you’ve got to let me get dressed.  Okay?”

     

    “In the words of Alice, that’s poopie *****, but I know you’re right.  Go on now, get dressed.  I’ll wait in the living room for you.”

     

    * * *

     

    About twenty minutes later Tina walked into the living room.  Let’s see if this will ease her troubled mind.  Tina smiled.

     

    “Okay, babe, I’m ready.”

     

    Bette turned around and stood open-mouthed, unable to form a coherent word.  After a few moments, she was able to swallow and attempt to speak.

     

    “MyGodT.  No one will – no one will see the artwork.” Bette’s eyes were transfixed on the gorgeous blond in black before her. 

     

    Tina seemed to slither up to her lover, her wife, her soul mate.  She put her hand on Bette’s cheek, placed a tender kiss on her lips.

     

    “Well, since I’m your present for later, I wanted to make the wrapping just right.”

     

    “Oh, my, T.  All I’ll be able to concentrate on tonight is you.”

     

    Mission accomplished, Tina thought.

     

    “Okay, Sharon, we’ll be back in a few hours.  You have all the numbers.  Both of us will have our cell phones on.”

     

    “We’ll be just fine, right, Angel?  You two have a terrific time.  I hope all goes well tonight, Bette.”

     

    “Thanks, Sharon.  See you later.”

     

    Bette and Tina left to go to the car.   Sharon just shook her head and said to Angelica, “You have got the most beautiful Moms in the whole wide world.  All the girlsand boys I’m sureare going to want to come and play at your house.”

    3. Oh Helena. How many more times does she need to fall flat on her face to get it?! There is no beating Bette Porter!! She’s an impervious life force. Even if you do get to her, she’s got the likes of armies backing her up with a most beautiful and loyal second in command. *Shakes head* Some people are just thickheaded. Thanks, rc!

    4. LOL there is some good stuff happening in this chapter. Apparentely Helena has not heard the old saying “Don’t pitch pennies with someone that has 5 dollars when you only have a quarter.” In other words Bette has a lot more supportive friends and therefore back-up than she does. Money can not buy everything, and it does not keep you warm at night. Helena give up while you are behind because this hole that you are in is only going to get DEEPER. Way to support your wife Tina, good job arceextl this story is only getting better by the post, please continue.

    5. I do so love this story. Happy that you let Ivan stop HelNorather than Bette, because if Bette had stopped her there would have been a big fight. Ivan is also gaining Bette & Tina’s respect for stopping HelNo and protecting his (hopefully, soon to be) family member. Thanks for this great story.

    7. RC…OMG, I’m glad Bette held her anger in check. Tina is definitely not going to back down. Helena and Candance are not only battling Bette & Tina..but their loyal army of friends. The war was over before it began…Helena and Candance should just go off together. Thanks to Ivan for Helena’s exit out of the sandbox…otherwise, she would have been buried in it head first. Thanks RC!
