“Oh I’m sure you can, trust me”
“Thanks for the vote of confidence God knows I need that!” Bette said smiling
James chuckled “Hey do you think you can handle here I’ll just go to Henry Young’s office to get the finance department’s quarterly report”
“Sure no problem”
Bette sat on her chair and turned on her computer and while waiting for the machine she turned around and went to the cabinet as James asked her to print copies of the new memo that Tina wanted to cascade to all employees.
“Excuse me miss”
Bette turned and saw a tall handsome man, impeccably dressed in business suit standing looking at her
“Yes Mr. Haspel?” she asked smiling
But just like before he was not smiling “Is Ms. Kennard in her office?”
“No sir not yet probably she’ll be here after lunch”
“Okay” then Tim turned and started walking towards the elevator
“Uhm excuse Mr. Haspel do you need something? Maybe I can help”
“Nope you can’t” and just like that he left without saying goodbye
‘Wow for a man with high education he was so rude!’

She awoke by the ray of light peering through the shutters. She took a deep breath and smiled as she remembered the dream that she had last night. Bette and she were in the same bed making love suddenly she felt that same throbbing pain on her right side of her head
“Oh fuck!”
And then she remembered it wasn’t a dream. Bette was in her bed last night only they didn’t make love.
‘Fuck! What the hell’s wrong with me?’
She glanced at the wall clock and noticed that it was past eleven in the morning. She quickly jumped out of the bed, hit the shower and thought that she couldn’t wait to see the woman who had invaded her dreams and thoughts.

“Goodness I’m so full Bette!” James chuckled
“If I ate two plates of Spicy Latin fried chicken with Jalapeno ranch sauce and coleslaw my stomach will be so full too!” Bette replied smiling too
“Hey do you mind if I leave you here I’ll just go for a smoke?”
“No not at all go ahead”
“Thanks see you at the office then”
“Yup!”
Bette was just finishing her food when she felt someone stood beside her
“Is this seat taken?”
Bette looked up and saw the same rude man that she was speaking to a while ago
“No Mr. Haspel it‘s not”
“Do you mind?”
“Nope go right ahead” she said out of politeness
“Thanks”
Bette returned a small smile and concentrated on finishing her food
A moment of silence fell between them
“You probably think that I’m an ass, don’t you?”
The brunette brought her eyes up and looked at him “I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to say Mr. Haspel”
Tim sighed heavily “I want to apologize about last week and this morning, I was so rude I know and believe me you’re not the only one who think about me that way but I want to say sorry”
“Alright” Bette said then wiped her mouth with a napkin
“I’m hoping we can start with a clean slate…” he laid his hand out to her and said “Hi I’m Timothy Haspel but please call me Tim”
Bette saw a genuine smile on the man’s face and something inside of her said that Tim was a good person
She took the hand, shook it and returned the smile
“Nice to meet you Tim, I’m Elizabeth Jane Porter but you can call me Bette”

Phacey, thanks for the post while you are on vacation! I loved the update. Seems Tina is in love with Bette and wants their first time to have meaning ( hence the fear of disappointment). Bette is certainly attracted to Tina and I think she is on the way of falling in love but then you throw in Tim for competition. You are sneaky! :-). I loved how Bette became confident in the bedroom. Now you just need to let her loose next time!
Thanks for the update and enjoy your vacation. So Tim is going to be Tina’s competition for Bette? Poor guy is going to be a two time loser then. I think Bette is going to offer Tina a side of her life that makes her more powerful. PPS

I really like how the story goes. For me this is very exciting first stage of the relationship, see how each goes the own way to love.

Nothing beats the feeling of seeing an update of a story we’ve been patiently waiting for (although you’re not supposed to). I know you’re enjoying your vacation but thank you so much for taking a break from your precious time to post another chapter of this story. That was so sweet.. I know you can’t leave us hanging for 2 weeks. I know you can’t bear to imagine the look of disappointment on our face if you can’t post even for just a week. I have no problem with the slow burning them.
the bedroom scene was a real revolution. seemed to prevail: that alpha personality in everyday life, she would like to give up control. Tina feelings more deepened, and Bette has not denied the attraction towards Tina. Would Bette, will see the scar Tina’s soul?
So, anyone watching Bette. there are a few possible person. :)
I hope Bette and Tim just be friends, would be too much if the same would happen to him twice. by the way, he is not yet ready for a new relationship. somehow I do not see them as a couple.

My comment got deleted so ill try this again– This chapter was so hot and all they ever did was kiss, did a little bit of touching and said sexy things but what really surprised me was the shift of character the moment they entered the bedroom. Bette’s sexual dominance over Tina was so hot and i cant wait to see her reaction when she sees her beautiful lover with a man. I agree with one of your readers– a jealous Tina is really hot. Another long time silent reader here, well not in your other site. In the last chapter you surprised us with Tina’s twin sister and now the shift of power between Bette and Tina is equally surprising to me. I just loved it when they act so differently when it’s only the two of them. Tim is making his move on Bette will Tina unleash hell if she finds out? i can hardly wait to see your next post. Please don’t keep us waiting too long and i hope the vacation will give you great scenes for my favorite couple.
