“Hey Al, what happened back there?”

“When?” She asked pulling off her ninja top to reveal another, lighter shirt.

“When you called Tina “mama T”? What was that?”

“Its a thing. Ask Bette when all of this is over.”

“So youre not gonna tell me?” I ask pulling my own ninja gear off in favor of the spring clothes underneath.

“Nope. That is one of the few things I know is not my business.”

“But it has to do with Bette and Tinas relationship?” I ask closing the trunk and getting into the car.

“Yep.” Was all she said climbing into the passenger seat.

“Then how is that question different than getting directly involved with getting them together?”

She sat back, clearly trying to rack her brain for an answer. When none came she answered, “Just drive.”

“What do you thinks gonna happen.” I ask starting the car to that long ride back home.

“Dont know. With Bette and Tina, you never can tell.”

    Chapter 5

“You look like youre ready to explode.” Bette said coming out of her room. She walks so quietly, I hardly ever hear her. Plus I got a million things running through my head right now.

“Im just thinking.” I tell her without looking at her. Its been hard enough these last weeks trying not to give everything away. But if this is going to work, Bette has to be on a need to know basis.

“Yeah ok. So I was in the laundry room and I came across this.” She held up my ninja outfit from a few weeks ago. When Alice and I began Operation Cobra Kai. Dont ask, its not the permanent name.

“Something Alice gave me for Halloween.”

“But its June.” She eyed me suspiciously. But before I realized that I had been staring dumbly at her, it was too late. She had figured something out.

    “Alice.”

    “Right.”

“You two went to meet with Tina again didnt you? And this, I take it is Alices way of going incognito?” I shook my head. No point in denying it now.

    “Bette, you dont understand.”

“I think I understand it as much as I need to, Jude. I thought Kit talked to you about this already.”

    1. Oh gosh, will they just get on with speaking or yelling or whatever they plan to do to the other. I must stop commenting I was just about to repeat myself from another story. Thanks for the post, enjoying the story.

    2. Damn, Damn, Damn!!! How can two people who still love each other continue to hurt one another the way that these two do. Both of these women need to see that the others are only trying to help them. Thanks for the story and I sure hope that Bette and Tina can get their act together and at least sit down and talk (which will lead to the bedroom, oh your story, sorry).

    3. I love your new character Jude. She brings the right amount of comedy into a very serious conversation. Plus how can you not like anyone who is trying to get B&T together? Great story!

    4. Hey Go-Go13, I’m loving every word of your story… and Jude with Alice and operation snake bite… what a hoot. The comedic elements in this story are marvellous. Please keep it coming.

    5. Well Go you sure know how to bring the drama. In real life this person would have known to not show up at the house without Angelica. Bette would have found it more difficult to slam the door in the face of her child. Stupid move Tina, real stupid but let’s just add that right along with the rest. Jude needs to stop but I guess that’s the drift of your story huh? It’s not all about Bette and Tina in this one it’s about us getting between them. Great read Go…..
