Making up is never easy! Chapter 23

The psychiatrist’s lifted Ben up and tried to get him away from Amy but he was refusing to let her go. The doctor had to unclasp his little hands from Amy’s t-shirt.

    “AMY… JESS!” Ben screamed

“Hunni they will help you trust us” Jess said she was getting upset too.

Once Ben and Ryan were out the room Amy covered her face with both her hands and took a deep breath, Bette went over and hugged her.

Jacqui stood not knowing what to do.

Tina went over to Amy and Bette.

    ”Are you ok?” Tina asked

    Amy let go of Bette

“I’m fine…Make sure Jess is ok” Amy said

”No I’m making sure your ok…You went through it too!” Tina said

Jess walked over and Amy hugged her.

“Team work guy’s team work” Amy said

    Everyone laughed

“Woooooh ok were buying bullet proof vests that was the scariest thing I’ve ever had to deal with” Amy said

    “Where’s the kids” Jess asked

“In the gym with Brian and Rachael” Alan answered

“Ok I’m sorry but I need a drink and im not talking coca cola here” Jess said

    Everyone laughed…Paul came running in.

    “Is everyone ok?”

“Yeah bro you missed the excitement” Jacqui said putting her arm around him and filling him in as they left.

They all walked into the gym.

Nathan ran over and hugged Amy.

“What the hell was he playing at?” Nathan asked “He’s my best friend but that wasn’t even funny” Nathan rambled

“How the hell does a ten year old get a hold of a gun?” Paul asked

“Beats me but im sure as hell going to find out” Tina replied

    “I’m starving!” Amy told them

“Yeah me too, food time” Jess replied

All the staff were sitting in the centre talking about what had happened.

“I mean im horrified it got this out of control, I informed the school about this” Amy said

“How he got the gun in the first place is beyond me” Alan added

“I cannot believe he held a gun and me and Amz, I mean were the two cool youth workers” Jess laughed taking a drink of her juice

    1. Sure that was a hell of drama. I hope the boy Ben shot, is fine otherwise that will make Ben situation more complicated. But I trust you to make him coming out clean hey. PPVS

    2. Wow, kinda heave subject but was written well. Poor Ben, he’s gonna catch hell at home and with all the authorities for defending himself. His parents should be punished for having the gun where he could find it as well. It is understandable why he did this after all those little hellions, beat him up, took his lunch money (extortion), kicked him, etc., one can not blame him for retaliating but not with a gun. I’m sure he felt he was at his rope’s end with no one to back him up or to help him. The school authorities should not come down so hard on him, after all, had they listened to Amy’s concerns when she told them what had been happening and talked to or punished those boys none of this would have happened. The parents of those little hellions should also be talked to very severely for not paying more atention to their boys that caused all this after all, bullies usually start at home as well as doing in their school mates., it doesn’t just happen at school. They also have those tendencies at home and other places as well. Hope they don’t put Ben in juvenile hall for this episode. Everyone was at fault in this matter, the parents, and the school authorities. Very well done. Thanks for posting.
