They left Dana’s car parked on the street, agreeing to come and get it in the morning. Dana’s mood had lightened considerably. It was amazing what a little company and being taken care of did for the soul.
Dana – You don’t really need to do this you know. I could’ve taken a cab to the nearest motel.
Sara – If you don’t mind me asking, why don’t you want to go home?
Dana – Thats a topic I want to steer clear from, if you don’t mind.
Sara – I won’t press… and of course you’re welcome no matter what the reason.
Dana – Thanks.
Sara – Not a problem.
Dana – I’ve been meaning to call you.
Sara – Well I’ve thought about doing the same thing myself. Our conversation was so short and I was in a hurry.
Dana – Yeah, and the thing about Lara’s missing body really creeped me out. Did the morgue ever find her body?
Sara – No… and it’s hard for me to have closure without actually seeing her one last time.
Dana – I wish I could’ve made it to the funeral… inspite of everything.
Sara – The circumstances were more then understandable, Dana. Lara was no saint… I, of all people know that.
Dana – Sounds like you have some stories. I’d love to hear them.
Sara – Maybe later… it’s been a long night and I’m sure you’d like a good night’s sleep.
Dana – Yeah, I suppose… but I want to hear at least one of the stories in the morning.
Alice knew it was going to be a long night. Most likely she would lay awake worrying about where Dana was and if she was alright. Shane and Carmen said they’d spend the night. Alice would’ve sent them home but she hated to be inside the big empty house. She’d still feel alone but at least the noise would fill the hollow silence. Shane suggested that they all camp out in the livingroom.. like it was a sleepover. That would’ve been fine except for the fact Alice was having a hard time watching the two. They were playfully teasing each other… and all that kissing and touching was driving her crazy. Why was it when you had no one… it was hard to feel happy for those that were? Alice told them that they could stay in the guest room and that she’d see them in the morning.

I’m glad that we learned a little more about Lara, and that Sara didn’t hook up with Dana. She needs a friend right now.
Hey, nice chapter – all the drama is sure going full steam ahead… but it would be really, really good if Al & Dana could get back together soonish. Real good!

lol omg, you really do crack me up you know that? You give me all of this crap about how the chapter isn’t that great and how I’m going to be biased and here I am gasping and laughing my ass off, first off let me say before I forget, Alice’s comment to Tina “Do you think I would look like this if I did?” hilarious. And the fucking like a couple of rabbits…priceless. You threw me for a loop though, so Lara’s brother was in love with her? Nice angle, it makes for some incest that I’m hoping I don’t have to read but still nice angle. I would have never thought of it but then again I am not the greatness that is you. Perfect one would say, a vixen in the eyes of some. :) I loved the chapter, and to think some selfish bastard almost kept us from the priviledge of reading it. That person should be ashamed, trying to distract you from your work. You toil over a hot keyboard all day on your day off, she’s just uncaring only looking for instant gratification. But not me…not ClosetDana no no :) Great chapter, I can’t wait till next week….it’s going to be juicy I just know it.
the drama continues to unfold, i dig it. sara isn’t half bad which is a total relief. i’m truly enjoying how sinister lara is. it plays well with her wholesome looks. i can’t wait to read what comes next.
Really love the in-depth angle we’re getting on all the characters… When Alice confessed to Dana I wasn’t sure how the story was going to go on, but even though Danish has a broken heart I’m still enjoying reading because we’re getting to understand the decisions and consequences of each character’s actions and it’s really great! Looking forward to the twists in the next couple chapters, can’t wait to read more! :)

Nice to have some background on Lara, but I’m so frustrated…I still don’t have the answers to my questions (*pouts like a small child who didn’t get an ice cream*)! :P I was jumping for joy when I read Sara wouldn’t be jumping Dana’s bones. :D Luckily Sara had a calming effect on Dana. Now it’s all up to Kirsten to talk some sense into her. Alice deserves a second chance. Go Kirsten! :) So, Sara has pyscho twins in her family. Something tells me that Dana is going to run into him (again) and maybe even Lara…. (*humming the theme from Psycho right now*) I think Alice could use some professional help, she has had a lot to deal with (some of it was really disturbing!). Hopefully it can help her to deal with it and live her normal daily life again. I don’t think that they’re both ready to have a talk yet. As much as I love them be together (as) soon (as possible), Dana still needs to deal with the anger and pain that is still left inside of her. I’ll be buckling up tight for the next chapter ’cause its going the one bumpy ride…and I don’t even like being in a rollercoasters…but I’ll be waiting for the next chapter. :)
Here it goes: I thought it was great. Lara’s brother is a freaky one, I’ll bet good money that he or even Lara are bound to resurface at some point, probably when things are just about to seem like they are getting better. Dana and Alice apart is a heart breaker, it’s really so sad to see. I hope there is some way to bring them back together, some way that makes me go AWWW the same way you do. It’ll happen, I know it will, because I know you and you are a sucker for happy endings just like me, even if you’d never admit it. I seem to hate Lara more and more, you know I always did, even way back when in the first 10 chapters. This was a really great update and I’ll be waiting patiently for the next, no matter when it is. I think we both understand what its like to go through those dry spells. Hopefully we’ll both get something going. I’m sorry that bad moods make things tense, but stressing is not something you need to do. Just know that I’m still the same and happy about you. Love you.
