    Bette didn’t answer her friend right away instead she hugged her tightly and said “Alice! I’m glad you’re here!” Alice who was still oblivious to the fact that the woman hugging her was her friend was shocked by the gesture ‘Oh lord thank you so much, I think I’m gonna get laid tonight!’

    “Woah you’re fast! You haven’t given me your name and yet you’re hugging me already!” Alice said smiling. Bette looked at Alice, smiled and placed her hands on her friend’s shoulders

    “Alice don’t you recognize me? It’s me Bette!” Alice couldn’t believe what she heard; she blinked twice then rubbed her eyes “Bette, My best friend Bette Porter?”

     Bette smirked at her friend “yep the one and only… So who’s Ugly Bette now?”

     

    Chapter Three

     

                “How did you do it Bette?” Alice asked still in shock due to her friend’s big transformation. The three women were all seated on their table at the right side corner of the club “and what happened to those horrendous blouses, skirts and big black eye glass of yours? Where did you take them? Are they safely locked down somewhere in the dungeon? C’mon spill it!” Alice added eagerly.

                “Easy Al don’t ambush her with all you questions” Shane said trying to calm down Alice who was still in denial that the stunningly beautiful woman sitting beside her was the same geek friend that she had since she was a little kid.

                “Well what you told me about having a real life is true plus I realized that if I really want to take my chance with Sarah then I need to be well equipped in all areas if you know what I mean. So I figured that going here tonight is the best way to start” Bette answered.

                Both Shane and Alice knew that the brunette has never been w/ anyone before. “Yeah but you haven’t told us yet how you managed to look so bloody gorgeous!” Alice asked again getting impatient.

                Bette told then that she spent a lot of hours in front of her computer which by the way was an old one; it’s not that she’s frugal, even though she’s well off Bette believed in wise spending. She told them that she learned a lot just by watching videos of How To’s on the internet. One thing though that she didn’t tell her friends was that she also read a lot of fan fiction about a certain lesbian tv show that ended more than 2 years ago.
