                Tina was enjoying the music at the same time checking out the women who were either dancing or kissing on the dance floor. Suddenly her eyes caught the sight of a stunning brunette seated across the room with two other women, and from the way they talked Tina thought that they must be good friends. Then something happened that she couldn’t explain when she saw the brunette smiled and laughed at something her friend had told her, her heart started to beat so fast she didn’t know why. Tina thought that it was the most amazing smile that she had ever seen.

                She couldn’t take her eyes off the woman despite the dim lights and the distance she could clearly see how mesmerizing her smile was. Her breath was caught in her throat when the brunette suddenly looked at her as if she sensed that someone was looking at her. Their eyes met and all Tina could say was “Wow!”

                Bette was laughing at what Alice had told her when she felt that someone was looking at her, she instinctively turned to the direction she thought the person was. What she saw was the most beautiful creature that she had ever laid her eyes on and when their eyes met everything turned into slow motion.

                “What do you mean wow?” Dana asked. Tina didn’t even look at her cousin because she was so drawn to the stunning brunette “Dana who is that? Do you know her?”

                “Wow Tina that is one sexy lady and no I haven’t seen her before” Tina just nodded “Uh huh… Do you wanna dance?” “You know I can’t dance, I’m fine here you go ahead” Tina downed her 5th drink then hit the dance floor.

                The song being played was a little fast and Tina was enjoying the beat so much that she closed her eyes not caring about her surroundings, although she was hoping that the beautiful brunette would join her ‘oh fuck what’s wrong with me maybe it’s just the alcohol kicking in’ Tina silently told herself.

                “Hey Bette, earth to Bette!” Alice said loudly while waving her hand in front of the brunette “Huh what did you say?”

     “I was asking you about you plans on your birthday which is a week from now right?”
