Meet Bette Porter: The 30 Yr OLd Virgin(34)
"Why don’t we bring these outside then" the brunette suggested
"Great idea!"
Jean’s 70th birthday was indeed a successful one, thanks to some who were ready to save the day when things were starting to fall down.
"Guys I can’t thank you enough for helping me tonight"
"Tina it’s our pleasure and you know I love you like my baby sis so anytime you need help you know where I live" Kit said chuckling
The blonde laughed too "Oh wait I think I forgot"
Kit and Tina hugged each other
"Tina the food was delicious, thanks for inviting us!" Shane said then embraced her friend
"Thanks Shane you guys are life savers"
"Hey don’t forget about me…" Alice said giggling then hugged the blonde as well
"Alice I love how you make mom laughed with your crazy antics, so thank you my friend"
"No problem Tina, anytime"
Finally, she turned to the smiling brunette "Bette I’m out of words … I just want to say thank you again… my mom’s birthday wouldn’t be successful if you didn’t come to my rescue"
The brunette blushed at what she heard "Tina anyone would have done the same thing as what I did… I’m just glad that it was me"
The blonde took a step closer and gave the caramel skinned beauty a hug
"Me too Bette… I’m glad it was you…thank you"
Bette welcomed the embrace and in return wrapped her arms around the blonde. As their eyes closed both women could feel the beating of each other’s heart.
It’s amazing what time could do to some people, when it comes to relationship, they said time could heal all wounds and it’s true in most cases. Bette and Tina didn’t have a relationship but what happened between them was something out of the ordinary. No matter how crazy it was, the time being away from each other, in addition to some people in their lives somehow helped them realized that no matter how bad things happened between them it was still possible for them to create that special bond that could only be shared amongst friends. It may not be that easy. It may even take a while for them to reach that goal but Bette and Tina were both determined to leave their past behind and to move forward with the newfound easiness and comfort that could lead to hopefully a great friendship.

Awesome Phacey. Will Tina inform Bette about Peter? What other plans does she have?
They are at ease at each other ..that’s a start…thou I still like them “together”…but as you’ve said we have to give them time… and be “patient”.. .. [not my strong attribute] .. …The news she about to tell Bette is about David?…awesome!.. Thanks again phacey…still trust you!
Getting good. PPS
Hey phacey – nice chapter. So glad they put their lamenting and pinning aside to focus on Jean’s celebration. When you ended the last chapter I was wondering why Tina didn’t just ask Kit, Alice and Shane for help, but I suppose having Bette intercede was a good way to get them together but also give them something to focus on outside of themselves. Anyway glad Bette stepped in to save the day, and glad she rescued the cake. That was pretty creative improvising. Thanks for putting up with my rants. I know sometimes I just get too carried away by my frustration with these two, but your talented writing and unexpected twists and turns keeps me coming back for more. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Phacey sweetie what a great update! Happy to see some changes between Bette and Tina, in this chapter i see maturity. Although im a tibette fan its nice to see that Bette respects Tina’s relationship with Sam. I know that u want tbette to become friends but i wonder what this ”friendship” will do to tina and sam’s relationship? Please post soon, im really anxious on what’s going to happen next, thanks hun!(-;
