"Provoked or not that should never have happened. I’ve never done that before… With anyone but you. You make me crazy. God if only my mother could see how insane I’ve become with the pain of you. To be frank she would probably laugh at such a sight of me doing what I do best, letting her down."

Propped up the patio doors Helena had to smile in disbelief as her thoughts turned to her mother. Biting her bottom lip in turn when she felt her tears threatening to fall once more.

Familiar eyes met her own as Dylan now stood before her in a stance that was less confident; more weak. Not knowing whether to conquer this head on she shook the thought of leaving from her mind. Pressing her hands onto Helena’s bare arms she felt the surge of chemistry that always electrified her heart.
She began to feel weaker but that didn’t deter her from saying what she needed to say.

"Helena it’s ok really it is. Look, I’m fine and you know it deep down. You didn’t hurt me not physically anyway. I guess I can’t overcome what I did to you and that’s through no fault of my own that you can’t trust me. I hope you live a good life… One where you’re truly happy and I think Alyssa is good for you. I never told you but we spoke once, you was out and we just fell into I suppose. The way she speaks about you even I can see that she loves you. I can’t give you that… I can’t take back what I did no matter how much I thought it possible.  I’m working on a new project and I asked whether you two would like to take part. I can understand why you would say no. Don’t worry you were the inspiration behind it anyway." Holding her hands tighter, more affirmative letting her fingers soothe both of their pain. In her mind it would be the last time she could touch her like this.

"Wait… What do you mean I said no". Helena eyes shone, gleaming in the light it took Dylan a nanosecond to realise Helena didn’t even know what she was talking about. Preparing herself for the questions that would be fired her way she breathed out letting all the hot air escape.
