Bette had less than an hour to get to Alices apartment and she still hasnt picked out what she is going to wear. She practically put every piece of clothing on that she owns. She finally decided on a very casual but flattering, thin, black, long-sleeve top with a pair of diesel jeans. She had to make sure to look perfect. She wanted Tina to be comfortable around her, so she had to look comfortable. She quickly sprayed on some chanel perfume and headed out the door.

Alice was starting to get frustrated with Tina.

Alice: I need your help Tina! I cant mix all of these margaritas by myself!

Tina: Okay, Im coming!

Alice put the mix down and went to Tinas room. She couldnt even see the floor, it looked like a tornado had hit.

Alice: (in shock) What is going on T?

Tina: I dont know what to wear.

Alice: What does it matter?

Tina: WellI sort ofinvited Bette.

Alice: You did what?! I cant believe you Tina, that is great!

Tina: I know, I havent been this nervous since our first date.

Alice: Okay, well here, wear this. You will look hot; Bette will be drooling all over you.

Alice handed Tina a very low cut sheer shirt with a black camisole to wear underneath.

Alice: You dont want to show too much cleavageyou want her to have to use her imagination.

Twenty minutes later, Dana and Shane showed up with an obscene amount of alcohol and food. At five till eight, Tina knew that Bette would arrive any minute so she went to the bathroom to do some final touches on her makeup.

Alice, Dana, and Shane were pouring drinks when there was a knock on the door. Shane and Dana looked at each other puzzled.

Shane: Who else is supposed to be coming?

Alice: Oh, I forgot to tell you guys! Tina invited Bette!

Dana: Youre kidding, how weird is this going to be.

Alice walked to open the front door.

Alice: Hey Bette! How are you?

Bette just looked at Alice and gave her a smile.

Bette: Ive been better. Hey Shane, hey Dana. How are you guys?

Shane: With all these drinksI couldnt be better.

Dana: Im good.

Bette tried to ignore the uncomfortable what the ***** look on Danas face. Shane and Dana started mixing drinks again. Bette scanned the apartment for Tina. Her face saddens when she didnt see her. She was about to turn and ask Alice where she was when the bathroom door opened and her heart sank. Tina was the most beautiful sight she has ever seen, absolutely breathtaking. Alice also saw how beautiful Tina looked and thought to herself, you let her know what shes missing Kennard. And winked at Tina.

Bette slowly walked towards to Tina, almost as if Tina was drawing her in. God how she just wanted to embrace Tina right then and there and never let her go. But she knew she couldnt and it killed her. Finally she was within arms distance of Tina. They both just sort of looked at each otherembracing the others beauty. Bette was the first to say something.

Bette: Wow Tina, you look great.

Tina: You dont look so bad yourself Ms. Porter.

Bette: Well thank you. Shall we join the others and have a drink?

Tina: Sounds good.

Tina and Bette took their place around the table with Shane, Dana, and Alice. Alice handed them both Jell-O shots.

Alice: (Raising her Jell-O cup) To my promotion that I should have gotten a ***** year ago!

They all laughed and downed their Jell-O shots. Then whole night was going great. Everyone was still at the table when Tina decided to get up and sit on the couch, hoping Bette would follow. Sure enough Bette was less that a step behind her. Bette sat right next to her, thighs touching. Bette put her around Tina on the back of the couch and leaned into her. The smell of Bette completely disarmed Tina. Bette whispered into her ear.

Bette: Did I tell you how beautiful you look tonight?

Tina: I think youve just had too much to drink.

Bette: Nothing, absolutely nothing, can make me not see your beauty. You are the most beautiful person Tina, inside and out.

Tina looked down shyly and blushed. She looked up and locked eyes with Bette. Bette leaned in and brush her lips with Tinas. Just then there was a knock on the door. Shane, Dana, and Alice were to wasted and hysterically laughing at something that neither of them paid any attention to it. So Tina got up and answered the door. Tina was totally shocked to see who it was. It was Michelle, holding a dozen pink roses with the most beautiful smile on her face.
