My Child – CHAPTER SIX
“Tabby, too much info. If you behave well, I’ll think about it okay?” Tina asked.
“That’s blackmail and you know it.” Tabitha said with a smile.
“Yep, I know. Now, go to your room and do your homework.”
“Sure.” Tabitha said and walked to her room. Tina took her laptop and went to Facebook. She typed in Seth Weston. She saw a picture of a black haired boy with green eyes and a light skin. He seemed tall. He had a cap on his head and was winking while holding two fingers up, indicating piece or something. Tina thought this boy looked okay, not to nerdy, not to badass. Just fine. She closed the laptop again and walked to the kitchen to make dinner.
——-
Max, Bette, Tina, Kenneth, Jasmine and Hannah were sitting at the dinner table while Mario, Tabitha and six-year-old Carina were in Mario’s room.
“Guess what my daughter told me today?” Tina asked.
“What?” Bette asked.
“Seth Weston kissed her. “Tina said, doing like it was a big deal. Kenneth laughed.
“Oh my God. That guy? He is lame. He has 20 friends and thinks he is ‘it’. So stupid.” He said.
“Well, Tabby was almost dancing through the house a few hours ago.”
“Oh, I know what it’s like to be kissed by your crush. It’s amazing. I understand.” Jasmine said. Bette rolled her eyes.
“Never had that, Bette?” Max asked.
“Yes, but I don’t think it’s such a big deal.” Bette said.
“Then you’ve never been head over heels.” Tina said. “Because when Sophia kissed me, stars were everywhere, I’m telling you. “Tina said.
“Sophia?” Hannah asked.
“My wife. She died two year ago.” Tina told her.
“Oh, sorry.”
“No problem.” Tina said with a smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. Bette heard a guitar beginning to play and she looked at Tina.
“Is that Tabitha or Mario?” Bette asked.
“That’s Mario. He loved to play.” Tina said.
“Oh, I played guitar ones.” Bette said.
“Really?” Max asked.
“I want to hear it!” Hannah said.
“Yeah, I’m also curious.” Tina said.
“Okay, okay.” Bette said smiling. They all stood up and walked into the boy’s bedroom.
“Hey.” Mario greeted them.
“Hey, Mario, can I barrow your guitar for a few moments?”

Go on Bette!!Happy mario is having everybody to support him.
Go Bette!Thank you for the update.PPS
I am so loving how this story is progressing. The circumstances that brought these people together was tragic but they are bonding into a happy supportive extended family and that is so great to see. Things seem to be getting better for Mario and it’s good to read that he’s now having some joyful moments. Really sweet chapter. Thank you for taking a chance on a story that doesn’t get told too often.
Yay bette and tina are getting closer
Mario seems to be having a good time with Bette’s family and all the children are getting along great. Mario also seems to be getting that self confidence and feeling much better about himself since he brought out the guitar in front of the others and began to play and didn’t seem to be afraid or self-conscious at all. That is a very good sign that he is doing much better and also the karate lessons have helped him as well. So glad that Bette and Tina are getting along great as well. Looks as though we will have a new romance to think about and enjoy. Thanks for posting.
That was awesome and love it !
Watch Tina that Porter charm is working its way in lol…oh and instead of Tina worrying about Mario, she need to pay a little more attention to Tabitha, I see a baby at 16 lol, jk
