My Life – chapter one
I’m starting to worry now. I’m waiting for my luggage to makes its way out of the strip. C’mon, c’mon, c’mon…. I’m tapping my foot. As you can see I’ve inherited Momma B’s patience, or lack thereof. My hairs down, oddly my usual unruly hair lost out from the flat iron today. I don’t get how Momma B’s hair is so perfect, nice and curly, and no frizzes. Not fair!
I’m rolling the cart with my 7 suitcases on top. It was supposed to be a short visit but really, I’m thinking of staying. I hope Momma T and Momma B take the news alright. Oh god, I need a cigarette. Just one stick before they see me.
Bette glanced down to her vintage Movado. Angelica should have arrived ten minutes ago. “T? Are you sure she said 10 am and not 10 pm?”
Tina sighs looking to her wife, “Yes, Bette 10 am as in morning. I know I’m getting old but I’m not senile!”
“Tina!” Bette whined. “I didn’t say that!” She groaned.
“Bette just stop it! I swear the older you get the less patient you get… I was sure it was supposed to be the other way around, ya know?”
Angelica saw from a distance. Her parents were obviously arguing. Momma B had her arms crossed her chest and Momma T looked irritated. Momma B would fold soon, it’s just how it always was. Momma T’s rules or nothing.
She popped a Listerine strip in her mouth, smoothed out her hair, straightened up her clothing and began walking, rolling her cart to her parents with the biggest smile. After all she hadn’t seen them in two years so she was really happy to see them, she missed them.
“Mommies!” Angelica angelically hollered, whilst waving an arm in the air to grab her mom’s attention.
Tina saw her first. She ran up to her only child and brought her into a warm embrace, kissing every part of her face.
“Angie, baby!” She squealed.
“Mom! Mom! I can’t breathe! Mom do you hear me? Mom! Mom!” Angie stomped the ground.
Bette chuckled at the sight before her and decided to help her daughter out.

lol…does she really think she’s going to bed right now? I can see Bette climbing up the the side of her house and into her window…unless she all of a sudden want to study art. more please.
Very intresting, please post more soon.
love it .. realy great PPS
Too funny, please continue.
that was a great post, i could actually here bette saying the f-word
Haha-I love this story already! Prob because I’m in med school and I and every single classmate have all at some point contemplated quitting! But since most of us have loans (instead of wealthy parents like Bette and Tina), we can’t afford to quit at the cost of $50,000/yr ! If art is Angie’s passion, I say go for it, because you have to love medicine to stick with it.
Interesting start…and thanks by the way…I am now craving a cheesesteak…good thing I live ten minutes away from NYC.
great start… love it already… and i also agree with skycaptain… but ti will be a tie as to who gets to her room first… can’t wait for more…
I remember another story where Bette removed the door from Angie’s room. She is on her way to get the toolbox right now. Great start! PPS
Great start! Rarely do we get a story featuring a grown up Angie, very interesting. As skycaptain, “does she really think they’re going to let her go to bed right now and that bomb while running out of the living room. After growing up with these two, what is she thinking?! Can hardly wait to read the next chapter. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the update. Interesting turn of events and I love the beginning of this story. Fascinating…
I would’ve been half way through an ass-whooping before the first step. Awesome post😃👍
