My One Special One – Chapter 24
Previously…
“I never knew, Tina.”
“Never knew what, Baby?”
“That I could give love and be loved in return by someone like you.”
“Get used to it because this someone will be loving you for a very long time.”
…words which caused the famous Porter smile to light up the darkness of the night.
Through the mountains of concrete called buildings, the sun rose and its beams knocked on Tina’s bedroom window. One of the slivers of light which began this new day fell across Tina’s face causing her to wake before her alarm blurted its annoying buzzer. She reached over to shut it off.
She was on her left side. Bette’s arm was casually, yet protectively, draped over her. There was no mistaking the feeling of Bette’s long, slender and firm body spooning her. Each touch, each moment of contact spoke love and completeness. There was no sense of possession or control – only I don’t ever want to let you go…your place is with me…our place is with each other.
Tina grinned as she felt Bette moving against her. I am so fucking happy, Tina thought. Never did I think the indescribable softness of a woman’s body next to mine would be the cause my immeasurable happiness. Never did I think making love with a woman would take me to a place way beyond sexual gratification.
Tina brought Bette’s hand to her mouth and gently kissed its palm. She looked at the long fingers that so often had pleasured her, and then caressed her; not necessarily in that order. Long fingers, members of soft hands, attached to strong but gentle arms. Tina watched as her own fingers ran the length of Bette’s arm and back down again.
Tina’s fingertips grazed Bette’s smooth mocha-colored skin. No doubt her lover was awake because the fine hairs on Bette’s arm now rose in response to Tina’s delicate touch.
Tina grinned once more because she could feel Bette’s now erect nipples against her back and the slow grind of her hips against her.
“You are so bad, Bette Porter.”
“Ummm…but last night you said I was good…” Bette’s words tickled as they fell on the back of Tina’s neck. It was her turn to have those fine hairs rise.

Yes, Yes, Yes, when I read this at work this morning, I could not post a comment. Yes, her mother had fallen for a woman too in her younger years, and her name is Chris, (so is that where Tina gets her name) and that is why she freaked out when Tina told her about Bette. So happy they’ve made up.No please post soon and bring on the rest of the story. And please do not let anything happen to Tina. Catch the bad guys before they hurt our precious girl. Awesome chapter…I agree with Honda…I think it’s a woman…either it’s a woman or the person she was talking to is like Tina’s real father or something like that….but I am leaning towards it being a woman. Show no shame Ann…do the damn thing.
Uh-huh, guys! Chris is the secretary!… But I think, no I hope that indeed, that mysterious old friend is a woman… Would make things quite interesting. Could also be a man, but i don’t think he would be Tina’s real father as you said that she ended the affair cause her husband got her pregnant… Oooooh, so exciting! This story (like all your stories) is just brillant, I love the way you mix some scary intrigue with the personal storyline… makes it like a big great novel!!! You’re such a talented writer. I wonder who Anne Kennard is in love with and let go all those years ago. Tina is so in love with Bette and working hard towards sharing their life together. Great chapter.

Hey Arcextl, Am loving this tale. It was wonderful to see Tina’s mom backtrack and admit the error of her ways and apologize to her daughter. Sweet love and a warm wack up call was perfect as Bette and Tina make an awesome couple and fall deeper and deeper in love and contentment with one another. Grinned the whole way through the rest of this chapter. Thank you so much for this afternoon pleasure. Your Loyal Fan. PS – Great to see that Tina’s mom has a few tricks up her sleeve and could Tina be named after another Chris.
