“Fine.” Tina said as she got up to leave.

    “Tina, just one more thing…” Aaron paused. “I will deny I ever said this so don’t even waste your time repeating it!”

Tina raised an eyebrow as she looked back at him and she crossed her arms over her chest.

    “You’re a hell of a producer and I’m lucky to have you on my team” Aaron told her.  “Now, get the fuck out of my office!”

Bette was sitting in yet another budget meeting when she received an odd text message from Tina.
    ~Angie’s going to Stanford and I’m picking up the tab! I’ll explain later. Love you~

Bette was puzzled by the text but smiled. ‘Well sounds like she is having a good day’ she thought.

    “Bette? Bette?” she heard a voice call out to her and she realized that Phyllis had asked her a direct question.

    “Oh Phyllis, I apologize. What was the question?” Bette asked.

    “I asked if the budget for the new student run art gallery had been finalized?” Phyllis asked again impatiently.

    “Yes. I handed that your assistant before this meeting so it should be on your desk when you get back to your office” Bette replied.

    “Terrific. Ok, let adjourn this one and see you all next week at the same time” Phyllis said to the group.  

Bette gathered her notes and reached for her purse so she could leave.

    “Bette? Will you come back to my office with me? There’s something I would like to go over with you” Phyllis asked as she walked over to her.

    “Of course” Bette agreed with a forced smile as she led them down the hallway towards the Chancellor’s office.  

If Bette had not been distracted thinking about Tina and her odd text she would have noticed that the Chancellor was following her ass much to closely with her eyes.  She looked back quickly and the Chancellor jumped.

    “What’s this about Phyllis?” Bette asked.

    “What?” Phyllis replied nervously thinking that Bette had just got her staring.

    “This one on one meeting. What’s it about?” Bette answered. “Are you okay?”

    “Me..what? Yes…yes I am fine” Phyllis answered as they entered the large office and she sat down on the couch.

Bette sat across from her and waited hands in her lap.

‘Oh Bette the things I would do to you on this couch’ Phyllis thought as she silently cursed herself for desiring Bette so much. ‘She is an employee and she is with someone’  ‘Oh who cares I just want to be with her one time’  Phyllis inner thoughts were in turmoil.

    “Seriously Phyllis are you ok? You don’t look well. You’re sweating” Bette said as she looked as her boss with concern.

    “Bette, thank you for your concern but I am fine. It sure is hot in here though. Is it me or is it hot in here?” Phyllis asked as she stalled for time while she removed the images of a naked Bette out of her head and focused back to the business at hand. “Do you want some water? I am going to grab some water”

    “No, thank you” Bette answered as she wondered why her boss was acting so strangely.

Phyllis grabbed a bottle of water and returned to her position back on the couch.

    “The reason I called you here was to ask you about a recent phone call I received from Senator Barbara Grisham” Phyllis finally said.
