    Bette and Tina are finally in bed, reconnecting and reclaiming each other, when all of a sudden….

    Previously

    Tina was in a haze of arousal, interrupted by Bettes nervous start. Tina lifted Bettes head to look straight into her eyes. The electric connection that had somehow dimmed over the past few years was now passing through both of them at full wattage.

    Bette, please dont stop. I want us to make love, said Tina as she guided Bettes hand back to the center of her desire.

    Chapter 17

    Are you sure, baby? whispered Bette, her desire etched on her face.

    I dont know how I could be more sure of anything, Tina replied, bringing both of her arms up to gather Bette to her.

    Im so sorry babe. I wish it never happened, all of it, Bette confessed with tears softly running down her face.

    I dont, Tina said quietly, almost inaudibly. Shhh. Dont talk now Bette. Come here.

    Tina brushed the long dark hair from Bettes face with both hands and looked into her eyes. She slowly brought Bettes face to hers. Tina gently licked the salty tears from her lovers face and bathed her eyes with broad strokes of her tongue. She continued kissing each part of Bettes face, slowly reclaiming all of it. As her tongue entered Bettes ear a guttural moan escaped from deep within the beautiful dark-haired woman. Bette moved to kiss Tina, almost blind with desire.

    No, said Tina pushing Bette away. Tina needed to be the director of this scene, in the chair and calling the shots. Please, let me.

    Bette laid down on the bed while Tina leaned over her and slowly undressed her, reveling in the feeling of Tinas hard belly skimming across her skin. She watched Tina looking at her body as more and more was revealed. Bette saw the pure love in each glance and lingering stare emitted from Tinas brown eyes and felt an overwhelming joy that she was being given a second chance to earn back what she had so blithely taken for granted. The joyful tears that sprung in her eyes replaced the bitter ones of regret. When Bette was naked on the bed, her dark skin in stunning contrast to the cream colored sheets, Tina kneeled back to take in the sight.
