    Bette and Tina are finally in bed, reconnecting and reclaiming each other, when all of a sudden….

    Youre not getting away from me that easily, smiled Tina, tugging Bette back to her. She pulled Bette to her and began to lightly tease her lips with her tongue. After hesitating a moment, Bette relented and opened her lips, inviting Tina to continue the lovely stroking. The kiss turned passionate, and Bette put her leg over Tinas, the evidence of her desire leaving a path of glistening liquid along Tinas thigh and knee. As Tina reached down to part Bettes ***** with her fingers a second contraction hit her. This time Bette felt it against her own body before Tina even had time to react.

    Okay baby, its happening again. Just hold onto me, Bette instructed, looking into Tinas eyes and trying to convey the confidence and strength that she was desperate to summon.

    Tina moaned through the second contraction, sweat breaking out on her forehead. She was frightened, and clung to Bettes arms even after the pain subsided.

    Its too early, Bette, somethings wrong, Tina gasped.

    Bette, Im fine now, please put me down! Tina said with a nervous giggle. You and Shane dont have to carry me, I can walk.

    Baby, look at me, demanded Bette, look at me, put your arms around my shoulders and keep looking right at me. I am going to get you safely to the hospital. We wont drop you, will we Shane?

    Id rather die than drop you Tina, Shane said seriously as she expertly gathered the lower-half of Tinas body, carefully backed out of the house, and skillfully guided the couple to the car as if she did this everyday. Ill call Kit and Alice for you and will meet you at the hospital, she said after depositing Tina gently into the seat.

    Tina, you have got to stop scaring us like this baby girl! exclaimed Kit. I want to be an auntie, but I can wait for the next five weeks.

    Im really sorry we got you out of bed for nothing Kit, said Tina looking up at her with a slightly embarrassed look on her face.

    These contractions are called Braxton-Hicks and they are very common in late pregnancy, said Bette authoritatively. Dr. Wilson called them practice contractions, she continued.

    5. Hey, i’m with chasemenow, with an update this good i would wait as long as it takes:) I hope Bette doesn’t get too ‘spooked’ by the false alarm…they can try again closer to the due date *wink*, to bring on the little one..hehe….Thanks for another wonderful chapter!
