Tina had decided she would tell Bette that she wanted to give it another shot. She was sure that would make Bette happy. Tina was nervous about telling Bette, but she hoped they could still have their happy ending. Tina headed toward the bathroom. What she needed was a nice warm bubble bath. She searched Alices apartment for some candles. She set them up around the tub and drew her bath. Tina dropped her clothes and slipped into the hot water. She closed her eyes and tried to picture Bettes gentle face. Tina giggled to herself. She couldnt help but remember their first night together. Tina had gone back to the Bette Porter gallery to collect her earing. Tina couldnt imagine how her earring wound up in Bettes possession. She clearly remembered putting it back in after it initially fell out. Tina nervously entered the gallery and looked around for Bette. She wasnt sure why she had butterflies in her stomach. Bette had been so sweet to her earlier, no need to be nervous.

Bette: Hey Tina. Can I help you with something.

Bette appeared from behind a large sculpture.

Tina: You scared me. I didnt see you there. ( Tina had her hand on her heart.)

Bette approached her slowly. She was studying Tina up and down. Admiring her every curve.

Bette: Im sorry. I didnt mean to startle you.

Tina watched Bettes full lips as she spoke. Bette caught her starring.

Bette: Are you ok?

Tina: Oh yeah. Im fine. Sorry.

Bette: So….

Tina: Oh yeah, umm, I cant find my earring again. I thought maybe I dropped it here.

Bette: I didnt see it, but we can take a look around.

Tina: Thank you. Im sorry if I am keeping you…

Bette: No, dont be silly.

Tina followed Bette through the gallery as they combed the floor. Bette stopped in front of a painting. The piece happened to be Tinas favorite. A women starring blindly into the eyes of her lover. Bette bent down and picked up the earring. Bette brought her body closer to Tinas. Tina could barley breathe. This woman was incerabbly beautiful and intimidating.

Bette: Here, let me help you.

Bette brushed Tinas hair away from her ear. She slowly inserted the earring back in her ear. Pausing to speak into Tinas ear. She let her lips gently touch Tinas skin.

Bette: All better.

Tina let out a slight moan and surprised herself.

Bette heard the this and took complete advantage. She wanted Tina from the moment she saw her.

She placed her gentle hands on Tinas face and drew her in for a kiss. Tina gave in almost immeditly. She let her tongue open Bettes mouth. Bette moved her hands into Tinas hair slowly letting slightly pulling each strand with urgency. Tina wrapped her arms around Bettes waist. When the two stopped for air Tina stood there stunned at what she had just done.

Tina: Im sorry. I dont know what I was thinking.

Bette: I kissed you silly.

Bette teased.

Tina: Oh yeah. ( Tina blushed slightly.)

Sensing Tinas nervousness Bette gave in.

Bette: You can go if you like. Im sorry if I made you uncomfotable. Its just…

Tina rushed to Bette and kissed her again. Bette was taken off guard and she liked it.

Bette: (Finishing her sentence)…you are so beautiful.

Tina: I dont know what has come over me. I should probably go.

Tina turned to leave and Bette grabbed her arm.

Bette: Stay.

Tina: I shouldnt. Eric will be expecting me back soon

Bette had forgotten all about Tinas boyfriend.

Bette: Thats right. Im sorry. You should go.

Tina collected herself and headed for the door. She turned back once more to look at Bette. She looked flustered and hurt. Tina smiled softly.
Tina: Im sorry.

Tina snapped back to the present. The water in the bath had turned cold. She jumped out and grabbed a towel. Once the bath tub was drained Tina blew out the candles and headed for the couch. She wanted to continue reliving that night with Bette. She closed her eyes and again escaped back in time….
