    Chapter 21

Bette was truly enjoying herself when her cell phone rang.

Bette: Ugh! I hate modern technology. Hello?

    Shane: Hey Bette.

Bette: Oh hi Shane, whats up?

Shane: I heard about what happened with you Tina. I wanted to call and check in but I thought I would wait until things calmed down.

Bette: Oh yeah. Well, Im pretty sure it over between Tina and I. She cant forgive me and I cant blame her.

Shane: Do you still love her?
    Shane had to know.

    Bette: Shane, I never stopped.

Shane: Why dont you fight for her B.

    Bette sighed.

Bette: I dont think she wants me too. I tried.

Shane: Give it another shot Bette.

Bette: Shane, really it isnt a good idea.

Shane: Would you fight for her if you saw her grinding on some hot girl at MILK?

Bette jumped up! Shane couldnt be serious! Not her Tina!

    Bette: Shane, are you serious!

    Shane: I wish I wasnt.

Bette: Im on my way! Dont tell anyone Im coming!

    Shane: Deal.

Bette ran into her bedroom and grabbed whatever clothes she could find. She caught of quick glimpse of herself in the mirror.

    Bette: Oh Jesus!
Bette grabbed her make up and threw some on.
She knew she wouldnt win Tina back looking like she just woke up!!

She grabbed the keys and headed for the door. She tried to plan what she would say to Tina! She wanted it to seem like she just happened to show up there. This was just all too much to handle!
As Bette pulled into the parking lot she felt courage drain from her system. She walked casually up to the club and peered around curiously for Tina. She spotted her. Tina was pressed up against some red head practically devouring her on the dance floor.
Bettes heart broke just a little more.
