CHAPTER TEN…

Bette was looking through her closet and she just couldn’t find the right outfit for tonight. She would meet Tina’s friends in the only gay club close to Tina’s house. La Costa or something in that genre. She took her cell and dialed her girlfriend’s number.

“Hi.” Came the sweet voice.

“Hey, baby. I don’t know what to wear.” Bette told Tina who giggled.

“Uh… That purple dress and the black belt that is a little shiny. Some pumps, a little makeup and you are ready my dear.” Tina said.

Bette smiled. “Thanks. I really didn’t know what to do.”

“I like helping you Darling. Now, go, and change.”

“Sure. See you later, baby.”

“Bye.”

Bette ran to her closet and took what she needed and soon, she was fully dressed and ready to pick her love up.

Bette rang the doorbell of the house where Tina and her family were currently staying in. Tina opened the door and Bette was stunned. Tina looked amazing; a tight jean and a shirt where the first three buttons were left open and a tie was hanging loose around Tina’s neck. High black heals made it complete. Bette looked at Tina and bit her lip.

“Hey, ready to go?” Tina asked. “You look gorgeous.” She added.

“Thanks. Yeah, I’m ready.” Bette said and closed the door after her. She took Tina’s hand and pulled her close. “You look so hot with a tie.” Bette told her girlfriend and then kissed her deeply. Tina moaned and then pulled back.

“I think I look like the perfect mix between butch and femme.” Tina told her girlfriend confident.

Bette smiled and kissed Tina again. “You always look perfect, baby.”

Tina smiled. “Flatterer.”

They stepped into Tina’s mother’s car and took off.

Tina stopped the car in front of an old looking building. You could hear the music pumping hard. A few women were standing outside, smoking or making-out.

“Tee, I’m a little nervous. You friends are all between 20 and 26. I’m 37!” Bette was almost jumping out of her skin because she was so nervous.

“That’s all true, Bette but that doesn’t mean they won’t like you so get your ass out of this car and let’s go partying.” Tina laughed and got out of the car. Bette rolled her eyes and followed her. Hand in hand, they walked into the club. Tina pecked Bette on the cheek and then dragged her to her friends. Shane, Max, Jenny and Dana were standing at a table and drinking a beer or a coke. They arrived at the table and Tina smiled at her friends.
