Tina walked into The Planet and looked around. In the corner, she saw Bette. She couldn’t help a smile appearing on her face and her heart rate going up. She swallowed before walking over. Bette, who had seen the blonde walking in, felt her hands trembling and her stomach doing weird things. Nobody had ever had that effect on her and she had only just met the woman. Tina walked over and Bette couldn’t help but notice the sexy sway Tina’s hips made.
"Hey." Tina said and sat down.
"Hi, how are you?" Bette asked.
"Amazing."
"That sounds good. How come?" Bette wanted to know.
"I am having coffee with this beautiful woman and if she likes me, I might score a date." Tina explained.
Bette chuckled.
"Would that be me?" She questioned.
"Yeah, that would be you. How are you?" Tina asked.
"I’m fine… What do you want to drink?" Bette wanted to know.
"I think I’ll take the same as you." Tina told her. Bette called a waiter over and Tina placed her order.
"Did you talk to your Dad about my offer?" Bette asked.
"Yeah, I did. He will call you tomorrow."
"Oh, okay." Bette said.
Tina leaned forward to grab the menu that was laying on Bette’s side of the table but that was still within her reach. She wanted to see if there was something on there to eat. She was hungry. She took the paper, and while still leaning forward she looked up, noticing Bette was looking into her cleavage. Tina smiled and felt immediately aroused by Bette’s eyes on her.
"Enjoying the view?" She asked Bette who looked up as soon as possible, blushing furiously. Tina grinned while leaning back.
"Sorry, I shouldn’t have done that…" Bette said.
When Tina wanted to say something, a tall man walked over.
"Hi, sweetheart." He said to Bette and leaned down to give her a kiss but because Bette turned her head, it landed on her cheek.
"Hey, Peter." She said, without much enthusiasm.
"I wanted to ask you if you wanted to come to the beach with me." He said.
Bette looked at him as if he was out of his mind. "Peter, I’m having lunch with a friend and you know, I hate the beach. You like it there, I don’t."

I’ve just started reading this, its strange having Bette has the straight one lol, but good story!
Like I said very promessing. Ihope Tina will get this job and take her mum and siblings out of there. she will need Bette support but I know she will have it. I just cannot believe Charles did not grabe the opportunity to get a job. tina is paying the parents for her siblings and I don’t think it is her role however she is the only hope of the family. I love the wayshe is looking after her family she is a little star.I cannot wait to see Bette and Tina relationship develop to a lovely love affair. I wold like some more please.

Peter is an ass and Tina should have decked him, I don’t think we’ve seen the last of him. Cowards always have a way of showing up when they shouldn’t. Tina’s dad is probably somewhere drunk and can’t go to the interview. If Tina gets the job she should just take her mother and siblings and find a house elsewhere and leave her deadbeat father where he is, in the gutter. He is not trying to find a job and when one is handed to him he doesn’t go for it. I’m sure his excuse will be that he doesn’t need women finding jobs for him he can find his own job. The mother is struggling to make ends meet and keep the family together. She should just leave the jerk and get a divorce before she ends up pregnant again and not able to care for the children she has already. Tina should have asked Bette if she could call her back in just a little while instead of ending the conversation completely until their date the next day. After the children were asleep she could have called her back. They need to talk and not just when they have a date because Bette is not 100% sure of her feelings at the moment and needs to talk these things through with Tina. Thanks for the update.
