Kit listened to her husband and was amazed how calm he stayed. He was truly her rock and she loved that man to death.
I will babe. I love you so much Sonny Benson……”
“Love you too, baby. Take care and we’ll be there tomorrow.”
While she was caressing and soothing Bette, Tina watched Sonny talking to his wife. She could see the love in his eyes. She wished that she could develop that same kind of love for Bette. Little did she know that her love for Bette was obvious and plain to see.
Sonny ended the phone call and looked at Tina and Bette. He kneeled down and looked at Bette.
“Hey, my little sister-in-law, what would you say if we fly to your sister and father? And you Tina my little sister-in-law’s girlfriend, you’re more than welcome to join us.”
“Fly, where to?” Tina asked.
“Fly to New York. No worries, we’re flying with a private jet. We can pass by customes without any problem so that you girls don’t need to go home to get your passports. What do you say Bette. How willingly do you want to see your sister?
Let me tell you one thing, if I fly to New York without you, I might as well end my life. Your sister will kill me and then my boy won’t have a father.”
“Do you guys have a son? Does my sister have a son?”
“Yes, we have a baby boy”
“Is he with my sister?”
“No, I left him with my parents. You’ll meet him and I’m sure you will like him. Now shall we?” Sonny asked.
“But, I promised Tina a song and some of the people in the audience saw me and hoped that I would sing.”
“That is taken care of. I promised the owner, John, that the next time, Kit will be here and perform. Maybe the three of you can sing. That would be awesome!”
“What about Candace?”
“She’s okay, she knows and she can handle the audience.” Sonny reassured Bette.
Bette turned and looked at Tina, asking her: “Tina, will you come with me? I think I might need you with me.”

I totally agree with you. Ki’t s part was limited in the show. Kit came alive to me through the stories. I always think of Kit as a bit ghetto. A woman who knows what live has to offer. I’m happy you like her.

What ever happened in the past, people can change when they truly want it, and Bette did it and i believe in Kit that she isn’t the same like in the show.
Can i admit that i am in love with your Sonny, he is fantastic and so is Tina. It is important to have people standing behind you, who support you through the bad and good times.

Thank you for loving Kit. In the show she was the one with all the bad luck, so in my story I want her to stand on the other side. She will be the strong one. The rock in the Porter family, with Sonny at her side.
