They would leave from The Bob Hope Airport. That’s where Sonny said the private plane was parked. It made Bette wonder how famous her sister was. Sonny saw the look on Bette’s face.
“Bette, your sister really made it in the music industry. Every artist wants to record with her, duet with her or wants to have her in their show. Kit can choose what she wants. She didn’t do shows for almost a year, due to her pregnancy. She did do an album in that year but she didn’t tour. So when she got back, she thought that people might have forgotten her. Boy, was she wrong. All the shows she did, were sold out. She even planned some extra shows. She truly made it. And because of that, she can afford herself some luxury which is very handy if you have to travel with a little child.”
“You must be a very strong and stable man to stand behind her.” Tina said.
“Thank you, Tina, but I also have my own shows. I do drag and my stage name is Sunset Boulevard. I participated in RuPaul’s drag show but I didn’t win. After the show Ru asked me if I wanted to join him, which I did. Now I have shows of my own and sometimes we do shows at the Planet. That is Kit’s cafe. In fact she doesn’t have to perform no more but it’s in her blood. She needs to sing. If she ever stops singing, I know it’s her time to leave this world. My baby loves to sing.”
Sonny’s eyes turned dazed when he thought about Kit singing.
“You love my sister, don’t you?”
“She’s my world! I cannot live without her any more. I need her, we need her. My son loves to hear his mother sing. He might turn out to be a singer himself. It’s funny to hear those two sing.”
Sonny smiled when he talked about Kit and Junior.
“Sonny, can I ask you a question?”
“Yes, Tina, please do.”
“Uhh, I always thought that men that did drag were gay men. Apperently you aren’t or are you bi-sexual?”
Sonny smiled while answering Tina’s question….

I totally agree with you. Ki’t s part was limited in the show. Kit came alive to me through the stories. I always think of Kit as a bit ghetto. A woman who knows what live has to offer. I’m happy you like her.

What ever happened in the past, people can change when they truly want it, and Bette did it and i believe in Kit that she isn’t the same like in the show.

Thank you for loving Kit. In the show she was the one with all the bad luck, so in my story I want her to stand on the other side. She will be the strong one. The rock in the Porter family, with Sonny at her side.
