“The pre-Tina Bette would have filled herself up with candy and doughnuts “

Bette started on her coffee and her emails with a smile at the photograph on her desk of her lover and their daughter. She would never allow herself to forget that everything she did for the rest of her life was so she could make the best life possible for Tina and Angie.She was just reading an online catalog when James burst in
“Is your mobile on ?”
“I have no idea “
Bette picked up her phone “Its on mute “
“Damn – Casey on line 1 – she says its urgent “
Bette’s heart leapt to her mouth “What ! “
“Line 1 Bette “
Bette picked up her landline “Hello Casey – what ? What ? Slow down – what the hell is happening ? – okay – no – I will be there as quick as I can “
She put the phone down and got up – James looked concerned
“What’s happened ?”
“I don’t know – Casey says that Tina arrived at school this morning with Angie and the next thing Casey knew Tina was screaming and crying – it was freaking out Angie unsurprisingly – but she says that Tina was hysterical – she has taken off with Angie before anyone could stop them “
“God – what the hell can have happened ?”
“ I have no idea “
“So where is Tina ?”
“No one knows – she has tried to call her on her mobile but she isn’t answering her calls”
“Do you think she’s gone home ?”
“I am going to have to find out “
“Is there anything I can do ?”
“Just hold the fort – what the hell is going on James ?”
“Was Tina alright this morning ?”
“She was asleep this morning – she was on top form last night.”
Bette switched off her computer and grabbing her mobile and bag she headed for the door. She needed to get home as soon as possible – the thought that Tina and Angie were somewhere upset and scared without her was just too horrible to consider. She had vowed nothing bad would happen to her girls – and she meant it.…

I love the story, but I was looking forward to reading more of their time together as a family for Valentine’s Day. I think that Tina may have gotten a call that the job for the script rewrite may have been cancelled, thanks to Helena, or maybe Helena brought their old house or something happened to her family back home. That’s it for my guess work. Please post soon.
