    Not The End, Chapter 47

“What’s going on?” She says looking up from the phone.

James stands from his desk and they both make their way to the entrance hall of the gallery’s show room.

“Helena are you alright?” I say rushing towards her.

“Yeah, I’m fine. That bitch is for sure not. What’s gotten into her?”

“I think this is what Bette was saying.”

Helena begins to walk further down the hall to find Kelly.

“Kit get James to call the police.” I say.

Kit begins to walk when Kelly’s man steps out of the room grabbing her wrist while holding a small gun in his hand.

    “No you don’t.” He says.

“Helena, don’t move.” I shout over to her.

She turns to look at me with confusion before she realizes what my two eyes are staring at.

“Guys what is going on in-“ Alice stops herself when she sees our faces full of fear and looking at Kit.

She holds her arm out stopping James in his tracks from walking closer, his eyes stare down at his phone.

“Drop the phone.” The man speaks pointing the gun towards James.

James’ body freezes when he takes a glance up at the scene, the phone drops from his hand onto  the floor and he puts his hands slightly up.

Kelly enters back in the hall quietly and slowly while chuckling.

“You guys actually fell for that?” She says.

“You already crazy, we just thought it was coming out more.” Kit says.

The man tightens his grip on Kit.

“Tina, Tina, Tina.” Kelly says my name repeatedly while stepping closer towards me. “You probably should have listened to Bette when she said to not come here.”

“How do you know Bette said that?” I say confused.

“I never got my lovely undercover man to go away. I got him to bug your house. While we were inside, he was outside placing bugs. I heard your conversation with Bette. And she was right.”

    “You’re sick.” I say.

“Let her go.” Kelly says looking at her hit man.

    The man just stands there.

    “Let her go, I said.”

    “I don’t work for you anymore Ms.Wentworth.”

“What the hell are you talking about?” She says.

“Daddy has all the money now and you, you are left with nothing. I need my share and I know you are unable to give that to me, so I’m going to take it whatever way I want.”

“What do you mean?” Kelly says with even more anger.

The room fills with silence, except for a buzzing cell phone.

The hitman reaches into his pocket, pulling the phone from it and putting it to his ear. “Enter.” The only words he speaks before hanging up.

“All of you.” He points his gun towards everyone. “Empty all pockets and get into this room.”

I look over at Alice who looks at me with fright, she begins to take all of her belongings and place them onto the floor followed by James.

    Bette’s POV

“Alice why aren’t you answering my last text.” I say aloud to myself.

“Bette, darling. Come look at this outstanding master piece.”

We stand here in one of Manhattan’s many astonishing art galleries.

I look down at my last text sent to Alice before I head over towards Peggy.

    “Bette, what is it?”

I haven’t made my way completely to her before she asks me with concern.

    “I believe something is wrong.”

“What so ever makes you believe this, Bette?” Peggy questions while looking at the art work in front of us.

“I’ve been texting Alice, I told her to text me every detail need to be.”

“And what has she said that has you so worried?”

“It’s what she hasn’t said, she suddenly stopped replying and her last text was about a loud noise.”

“You can’t let every little thing worry you, Bette.”

“I just have this gut feeling that something isn’t going as planned.”

    Tina’s POV

“Good, now everyone in this room.” He speaks while pointing the gun towards the room.

When I begin to take a step forward, I get stopped. “Not you.”

I look at him confused and the girls look back at me as they slowly make there way into the room.

“It’s all ready, Sir.” All heads turn towards the end of the hall as two large men stand there.

“Good, start taking everything.” He says.

I take one last look at Helena and the rest before he closes the door.
