    Not The End, Chapter 49

    Chapter Forty-Nine

“Is there a window in the washroom?” Helena asks.

“Do not tell me you gonna pull that “I need to pee” bullshit movie excuse.” Kit says.

“There is but it’s useless, it’s too far up from the ground. No way of climbing out without falling  to your death.” Kelly says.

“That leaves us with only one option.” I say shaking my head.

“Do they still have our cell phones in the middle of the floor? How the hell are we gonna know where they even put them, if they moved them and we can’t even see where they are in the first place. I hope you didn’t forget we are locked in this room.” Kit says running her hands through her hair.

“What if we knock one of the men out?” I blurt out with my idea.

“Alice, how do you expect us to knock one of the men out?” Helena says questioning me.

    “We’ll figure something out.”

“And why are we going to knock one of the men out?” Helena asks again.

“I was thinking that maybe James, you could act as one of the men and get us help?”

“Another movie scheme, Alice? And now you wanna risk just his life?” Kit says looking at me.

“Kit, we have to try something.”

“So we knock one of the guys out with what?” Kit questions.

“There are plenty of hand objects in this room.” I say looking at one liftable sculpture in the corner of the room.

“And how won’t they know that James is not one of them?”

“Kit, there seems to be more than 50 guys out there, they will not notice him.”

“James?” Helena says. “How do you feel about this?”

James holds a pause for a few seconds.

“You don’t have to do this if you don’t feel up to it, James.” Kit says looking into his eyes.

“I’ll do it.” He says standing to his feet.

“We cannot do any of this without figuring out how this is all going to work.” Helena says.

    Tina’s POV

“You want this signature so you can get away with it?” I speak but making no eye contact.

    “Smart aren’t I?” He replies.

“So you think no one is going to open their mouths?”
