    Bette’s first day back to work.

    OUT OF CONTROL chapter 18

                Bette had worried that she and Tina had moved to fast with their first night’s ‘love fest’ as Alice so lovingly called. It was wondrous. It was beautiful. It was a rekindling of a seemingly lost love. It was a feeling of need and want that couldn’t be squelched.  It was better than the first time but it was quick.

                After the haze of pleasure, need, desire, and want lifted Tina was mentally kicking herself. What was she doing? Was she trying to kill her? The doctor told her she needed to be the one to look after Bette when she couldn’t look after herself. This wasn’t what the doctor order no matter how great.

    Both Bette and Tina knew it was to fast. They had more they needed to say. They knew this but neither was forced and neither regretted it. They did however agree things needed to slow down a bit after that first night to truly let the healing of their broken relationship begin.

    Bette had enjoyed a wonderful couple of weeks home. Bette was steadily learning to open up to Tina because a good ***** is fine but it can’t keep a marriage alive. She couldn’t keep anything from Tina. She had to trust her wife explicitly with her emotion which had had never done before. It scared her but it had to be done.

    Today was going to be Bette’s first day back to work and she wasn’t sure how she felt about that. Thing hadn’t been going well before her absence. She was beginning to feel an intense hatred to CAC. She remembered a time so very long ago when she loved the job she did.

    She went into the CAC where James told her she had an appointment with Franklin first thing. “Great”, she told James. She went to Franklin‘s office leery of what he might say. Granted this was her first day back after a long absence but some how she had the feeling that was not going to be the topic of conversation this morning. When she arrived at Franklin‘s door she knock entering with his permission.

    “Hello Bette. How are you feeling?” he greeted.

    6. Firing her after she’s been out sick…I think Bette may have grounds for a discrimination suit. The settlement would go nicely with that buyout to endow the baby’s college fund. Thanks!

    9. from what i hear about s3 tina is not to thrilled about bette getting fired,maybe thats just a rumor or the spoilers are in affect.but on the fanfiction site tina handled it well,youshould go write for the show since thewriters are always leaving out important information.maybe its a blessing bette got fired,the cac droveher crazy,and thats one of the reasons her and tina split up. hey bette didlook so delicious in her power suits when she went to work yum yum.
