Alice: I know..but..

Dana: But what? How long are you planning to stay away from me?

Alice: I’m not staying away from you. I love you.

Dana: You that but you don’t mean it!

Alice: I’m sorry, Dana. Not now.

Alice walked out. Dana was standing there looking down. She doesn’t undertand why Alice is doing this to her.

Alice’s house…

Dana knocked on the door…Alice opened it and looked at her.

Alice: Dana..

Dana: …Can I..come in?

Alice opened it more and let Dana come in. Dana sat at the end of the couch, Alice sat on the other end.
Silence…

Alice: Yeah so..

Dana: Can you tell me what’s wrong?

Alice: Nothing..I told you nothing’s wrong.

Dana: Well there seems to be…

Alice: I know it’s been ages but I just think that..

Dana: That what?

Alice: Like I’m a danger hazard you know? I nearly..I nearly got you killed.

Dana: (coming closer) But you didn’t. You gotta trust me, would I be here if I’m dead?

Alice looked at her.

Dana: Hmm? Well?

Alice: …..No…

Dana: Alice I love you very, very much.

Alice: I..I love you..too.

Dana held her hand and smiled. Alice looked at her hand holding hers. She couldn’t take it. It was too overwhelming for her. Her heart started to beat more faster. She quickly took her hand away from Dana’s and stood up going to the kitchen.

Alice: I’m sorry I can’t.

Dana was dissapointed, what’s wrong with Alice? What has she done? Dana stood up and followed her.

Dana: You can’t what? You can’t be with me? You can’t..you can’t what?!!

Alice: I don’t know, I don’t want to hurt you again.

Dana: (angrily) It’s like I don’t know you anymore. Can you please talk to me?

Alice just stood there back turned. Dana was waiting for an answer, she couldn’t take it anymore and left. She didn’t want to say anything bad. She stopped at the front door and turned back and walked to the kitchen again. Alice was still standing there.

Dana: Just to remind you..I left Lara just for you..just for YOU. I thought when I got back here, I thought I could make it up to you, I thought..I thought you loved me.

Dana looked at Alice waiting for her to say something. But Alice remained there motionless.

Dana: Why do I even bother?

Dana left. Alice realised what she’s doing and turned around but Dana was gone.

Alice: *****! What the *****’s wrong with you?

Dana got in her car and started it. She wind down the window and looked at Alice’s door. She was expecting for her to come rushing out saying sorry but nothing. She started crying and drove off.
