Tina looked stunned, "are you serious? Do you have medication? Did you need more I can I run down to the pharmacy…"
"Aunt Tina," Christian said grabbing Tina’s hands gently, "I don’t need a refill on the pills until next month. Well my mom felt terrible about what happened…"
"So she should," Tina scoffed angrily.
Christian nodded, "she started making amends. She forced herself into rehab and overcame her drug problem, she begged my forgiveness every single day, and eventually. I did forgive her."
"You did?" Tina asked in shock.
"Yes, it gave us both peace," Christian said, "then she wanted to look for you and beg for your forgiveness but social services had sent Patty to investigate. She had to postpone searching for you because she didn’t want to lose me. Well Patty deemed her unfit and was gonna take me away but something unexpected happened."
"What?" Tina asked.
"They fell in love."
Tina looked angry and shocked at the same time.
Christian continued before Tina commented, "Patty agreed to help my mother reach out to you they found out you lived in New York and were planning to search for you, but then my mom got sick. She wanted to just pop into your life and just get on her knees and beg for your forgiveness, but Patty said it would be a better approach if you would agree to see her."
Tina gulped and waited silently. She knew what was coming and her heart was almost ready to beat out of her chest.
Christian took a deep breath before continuing, "Patty told me that I should come live with you guys and convince you to go see my mother because even if you don’t forgive her at least you both will get closure. I just want to make amends for what my mother did to you because she confessed everything to me, and I want you both to get the closure you need so you can move on from it and she could die peacefully."
Tina stood up in a rage but for some reason her anger wasn’t at all directed at Christian. Her anger was directed at Mary and Patty. The way she saw Christian is a young boy who’d been abused all his life and doesn’t understand.

I officially love you… in a none freaky way… this is a great story. PPS
Amazing update. thank you.
Great update..as usual!
what a lesson that will be, Tina is stubborn plus if she doesn’t want to do something and/or if she’s being pressured. Good luck with that Bette. Now get Tina in to see Bette so she can stop crying and know that Bette will be alright. Bette needs to tell Tina that she saw and talked to Dana and that she is always with them. Great update. thanks.
But Tina *is* giving and has given second chances. She and Bette are together now; she’s still taking Christian in even after the deceit that the boy knowingly participated in. He’s old enough to know right and wrong, if he didn’t know the difference, then he wouldn’t have thought his mother needed forgiveness for her treatment of him or Tina. Tina can easily forgive from afar… doesn’t mean she has to ever look at Mary’s face again. Cheers
I have an idea of where you are going with this. Will be interesting to see the outcome.
Did Tina something wrong? Why she should forgive her sister?Thank you for the update.PPS
