    Part 6

    On the way to their destination, Raquel played some of the hottest new Brazilian music. Between singing along with the songs, she spoke of her recent trips abroad. Home and heart was still in was Rio de Janeiro but she considered LA her main home away home. She had a condo on South Beach and flats in London, Hong Kong and Milan. She had longed to get back LA since her last visit. She was on her way to Milan for a new fashion show by Dolce and Gabanna. From there she would be traveling around Europe and Asia. She confessed that seeing Helena was the main reason she made this brief stop through LA. Helena was tickled by the attention but she felt the only reason she was getting this attention from Raquel was because she did told her she would not see her again. She assumed that since Raquel did not have her way the first time, this made Raquel want her even more. Helena was pensive on the way to wherever they were going but this did not seem to faze the ever vociferous Brazilian. After a while Raquel noticed Helena was distracted and asked, “Which one was it?”

    “Which one was what?” answered a stupefied Helena.

    “Which one is your ex? The reason you kept looking at that table.”

    Helena shook her head but Raquel pressed on. “I know one of them must be and whoever she is, she is the reason you did not want to see me again.”

    Helena laughed at Raquel’s assumption, “You think so? Maybe I just didn’t want to see you because I didn’t want to see you.”

    A shocked Raquel pressed, “Why would you not want to see me again? What the sex bad?”

    “No! No! God no! The sex was good,” smiled Helena.  ”The sex was really good.”

    Raquel beamed with pride, “I thought so. It was very good for me too.” Then she added in a frustrated tone, “This is why I just don’t understand. Did I say something wrong? Did I do something wrong?”

    “No! Not at all Raquel, you were sweet.”

    “Then why? I have been pulling out my hair. I have been a total bitch to everyone.” Then she laughed, “Maybe a bigger bitch than usual. But I could not understand why you would not want to see me, Raquel, again. I have to confess this is a first for me Helena. I could not understand so I thought…it must be a girlfriend. There must be a girlfriend. So which one was it?” Helena did not respond but shook her head instead. Unrelenting in her determination to figure it out Raquel pressed on. “I would guess the pretty brunette with the long hair and Prada suit.”

    1. Why do Tina keep bring Dylan into Helena’s establishments, is she brain dead? Even though I think Raquel is annoying and kinda full of herself….it looks like Helena has found herself a FWB. I don’t know how they will find the time. Thanks for the great update.

    3. Lengthy chapters are good. Hahaha. I have to agree with Rau, I like family type Raquel. I don’t know why but I really really don’t like Dylan. Hahaha. It’s just weirddd to picture Helena and Dylan again. :/

    4. What is up with Dylan? I so wanted her to be more proactive in pursuing Helena. If Tina is correct and the door is open, why isn’t she being more direct? I can understand why their is doubt regarding her intentions. Raquel is an interesting diversion but what is Helena hoping to accomplish? She has to know that she needs to address the past with Dylan and move on. I hope one of the two of them gets the ball rolling… I think I have too many questions yet…so I’ll just wait and see where you are taking us.

    5. Well Squirl, I believe Helena deserves to be put in bed with hotties! And you write those steamy scenes so well. Too bad no little Lolita in this story for Helena! **wink**. And although Raquel may be a temporary distraction from Helena’s heartache, she is definitely not relationship material. Helena doesn’t want to get hurt, but she doesn’t realize that she is a lonely soul and needs companionship.
