Reconciliation- Part 6
“Bette! You would think Bette! Oh God no! We are friends. No…,” Helena thought briefly about the possibility then shuddered. “No!”
“Then is must be the blonde with the long hair, is she your ex?”
“Tina? No…well yes but no.”
“I don’t understand. You have me lost. What does ‘no well yes but no’ mean?”
Helena took in a deep breath as she explained, “We did date for awhile but there was never anything to it. I almost forgot about that. She and Bette are soul mates, at least for now anyway.” Helena smiled to herself with her comment. Â
“Then the cute blond with the pixie hair, she is very cute. Is she your girl friend?”
“I don’t even know who she is. She is not my type.”
“I see. Not the quiet one! Is that your ex? She is pretty but I would have never thought she would be your type.”
Helena began to feel her temperature rise. “You think you know me and what is my type? We had one night together and you think you know what I like. I have news for you. You don’t know anything about me and what is my type.”
“Well, I thought you would go for someone fabulous. Someone like me.” Raquel looked over at Helena with a smirk on her face, “Perhaps I was wrong about you.”
Helena huffed and rolled her eyes, “Fabulous you are Raquel. I will not deny this. But whatever you were thinking about me, you were probably wrong.”
“I see. Â So what happened, why did you break up?”
“You are not going to let this go are you?” Raquel looked at her with a raised eyebrow and shook her head no. “Do you always insist on getting things your own way?” Raquel smiled and nodded her head. Helena began to tap her foot anxiously, “You know what? As I look back at it, I would have to say, we were never really together.”
“Like that Tina?”
“No, different from Tina.”
“So what, she did not like you? She must be a fool,” responded Raquel in a shocked tone.
“It’s a long story. But I was the fool.” Helena felt her temperature begin to rise, “Look Raquel, I really don’t want to talk about her, can we please talk about something else?”

Why do Tina keep bring Dylan into Helena’s establishments, is she brain dead? Even though I think Raquel is annoying and kinda full of herself….it looks like Helena has found herself a FWB. I don’t know how they will find the time. Thanks for the great update.
i like the family type raquel; she has potential. it would be so nice for helena to leave dylan in the dust.
Lengthy chapters are good. Hahaha. I have to agree with Rau, I like family type Raquel. I don’t know why but I really really don’t like Dylan. Hahaha. It’s just weirddd to picture Helena and Dylan again. :/
What is up with Dylan? I so wanted her to be more proactive in pursuing Helena. If Tina is correct and the door is open, why isn’t she being more direct? I can understand why their is doubt regarding her intentions. Raquel is an interesting diversion but what is Helena hoping to accomplish? She has to know that she needs to address the past with Dylan and move on. I hope one of the two of them gets the ball rolling… I think I have too many questions yet…so I’ll just wait and see where you are taking us.
Well Squirl, I believe Helena deserves to be put in bed with hotties! And you write those steamy scenes so well. Too bad no little Lolita in this story for Helena! **wink**. And although Raquel may be a temporary distraction from Helena’s heartache, she is definitely not relationship material. Helena doesn’t want to get hurt, but she doesn’t realize that she is a lonely soul and needs companionship.
