Alice was vibrating with barely contained excitement. ”Details. I need details.”
”No.”
”Come on–”
”Alice, I’m not giving you spank bank material.”
”Too late, I’m already there.”
Tina grabbed a throw pillow and launched it at her. Alice caught it, cackling.
Shane took another pull and passed the joint to Tina, who accepted it with shaking fingers. She inhaled, held it, let it blur the edges just enough to keep talking.
”After…” Tina swallowed. ”After the last one, I couldn’t stop shaking. Like, full-body tremors. And she just… untied me and wrapped me in this insanely soft blanket and held me. For like an hour. She brought me water and chocolate and she brushed my hair…” Her voice broke again. ”She brushed my fucking hair, and I cried. I cried, and she just let me, and then she kissed my forehead and told me I was beautiful.”
Shane’s expression had gone soft in that way it rarely did, the way that meant she actually cared and wasn’t just here for the gossip.
”And then what?” she asked quietly.
”And then she walked me to my car and told me to text her when I got home safe.” Tina laughed. ”And I did. I texted her, and she wrote back, ’Sleep well, Tina. You earned it.’” She took another drag, deeper this time. ”I haven’t slept well since.”
Alice leaned forward, elbows on her knees. ”Because you can’t stop thinking about her.”
”Because I thought I was straight!” The words burst out of Tina like something that had been clawing at her ribcage all week. ”I thought I knew who I was. I thought I’d tried everything, that I just wasn’t that sexual, that maybe I was broken or… or something. And then she touched me, and it was like…” She gestured wildly with the joint. ”…like someone turned the lights on in a room I didn’t know existed.”
”You’re not straight,” Shane said matter-of-factly.
”I don’t know what I am.”
”You’re into women. Or at least into one very hot dominatrix who makes you come so hard you see god.”
”Shane!”
”I’m just saying.” Shane shrugged. ”You don’t have to figure out your entire sexual identity right this second. You just have to figure out what you want next.”

Well, that’s something else! How many times will Tina return? Curious to see whether Bette will loose her professional attire or whether the story ends with Tina meeting and falling in love with Helena ;-)
