    Right Next Door PT1

Bette quietly closed the door and turned around to look at her friend. This was the first time she noticed her attire. She was wearing a pair of shorts and a pale blue tank top, her skin was covered in a layer of sweat and her hair was pulled up into a messy bun. It was obvious she’d just been running, which explained the greedy gulps of water she was now taking.

“Yes Alice, I am. The artist?”

“Oh yeah!” Alice grinned and nodded, “I remember you telling me, last night you told me – right?”

Bette crossed her arms over her chest however when Alice slumped down on the couch and kicked her feet onto the table she knew then that there was no way she was going to be able to get her friend to leave anytime soon, she sighed loudly and joined her.

“Are you looking forward to it?” Alice questioned.

“Am I looking forward to having two strangers staying in my house for a month?” Bette drawled sarcastically.

Alice looked at her blankly, “Well, are you?”

“No Alice, I’m not!” She groaned in frustration and threw her head back. “I don’t want some strange people in my house, it doesn’t matter whether they’re artists. I don’t even know why his girlfriend is coming with him! Couldn’t she stay at home?”

Alice shrugged and took another sip of water, “I bet he’s a hunk. That’s why she doesn’t want to let him travel by himself. I bet she’s seen a photo of you!” She grinned widely when Bette narrowed her eyes in her direction.

The doorbell ringing again bought their conversation to a sudden halt. Bette rubbed at the bridge of her nose, trying to push away the headache that was now forming. She really was not interested in any sort of company at the moment. Now there was going to be a couple living in her house for a month.

“I should go, shouldn’t I?” Alice rose to her feet, taking the bottle of water with her. “I should continue on my jog, Dane said that I shouldn’t stop for long periods of time or my body will just get incredibly sore. Because all of the-” She shut up when she noticed Bette ushering her to the door.

    1. Did Eric even come back? Any of my friends show up that time in the morning, they can just wait outside. I like how Tina seems to be the more aggressive one here. I do believe they need more time in the pool

    2. well you have got my attention, I also find I enjoy the Tibette beginnings especially when the writers add in Eric. He is such a jackass and always brings a smile to my face when he is in a storyline.Great start… well done and I look forward vey much to your next postings

    3. I have a date with your next chapter so post it soon, please. I like this story. One whole month with Tina in the guest room with the cheating boyfriend. You need to find a girl for the cheating boyfriend so that Tina can move on with Bette.
