Right Next Door PT3
“What happened?”
She stopped herself from walking over and holding her.
Tina blatantly ignored her question. “I am sorry I am using your dressing gown. I got mine all wet. I had an accident in the bathroom.”
Tina laughed lightly.
That laugh, Bette thought, so beautiful.
She crossed the room and sat down beside Tina. She nervously wrung her wrists on her lap as she thought about things to say. It was obvious that Tina would prefer not to talk about it, she could tell from the way she had avoided her question. Bette looked up to find Tina looking back at her.
“I’m sorry about all of this,” Tina choked. “I am causing so much trouble for you.”
Bette put her hand on her back and rubbed gently.
Tina wiped her eyes with the back of her hands when she stopped crying. Bette knew just how to calm her down. She looked at the worried brunette and was hit almost immediately with overwhelming guilt. She could see the pain in her brown eyes but Tina couldn’t bring herself to tell her what had happened. She was actually quite embarrassed.
It had all started when Eric had returned from the CAC. He was carrying the most gorgeous bouquet of flowers Tina had ever seen. Eric never bought her flowers unless it was a special occasion, but still, he’d find some sort of reason not to buy them. Tina had happily taken them and greeted him with a kiss on the cheek.
He seemed in a perfectly good mood. He was apologising profusely about his behaviour. Tina wasn’t ok with it but she couldn’t hold it over his head forever. She put the flowers in some water and joined him on the couch. Everything was going well. They were getting on great until Tina noticed him fidgeting nervously and glancing at his watch.
He wanted to go out.
That’s when it all went wrong.
They started to argue. Not bickering. It was a full-blown argument. Eric was complaining about Tina, saying she was a controlling girlfriend and how he’d like to go out and explore LA. Tina had insisted she went along with him, but that only made it worse. She’d tried explaining to him that they were allowed to go out together, especially since they hadn’t spent much time together through the day.

Watch he’ll get all pissy and threaten to leave the next day. There’s no sense in that bullcrap.
Ok, Eric needs to grow up and stay sober. What the hell does Tina see in this guy and why does she feel she needs to put up with his crap? Why is Eric unwilling to take Tina with him? Is he cheating or is he cheating and downlow, which would explain why he doesn’t want to see Tina without clothes? Answers please!!!
So what did happen to Bette’s dressing gown??? Loved the update and guess I have to go with the consensus that Eric is an ass and Tina should dump him. bette is in a tough spot though with Eric being the artist for the CAC show. I have a feeling this one is going to get messy!
Nice story , very nice.. , only 4 little words to say… “Eric is a ass”
I hope that this will not mess up Bette’s show because Franklin will jump all over her. But Eric needs to have his brain rewired or knocked around a little bit. You don’t leave a beautiful woman at home to drink and I am sure play around with some scuzzy woman. It also sounds like Eric is pushing Bette towards Tina.
Eric is an ass, poor Tina but glad Bette is there to protec her!
wtf …get rid of Eric….pps…with no more eric the drunk…
Man. Tina could do way better than an alcoholic who treats her like that.. hopefully Eric will be out of the way romantically soon. It certainly isn’t a healthy relationship.
