    Sand Art

Tina’s cell phone rings. She looks at the caller ID surprised to see that it’s Bette calling.

“Hey Bette I wasn’t expecting to hear from you so soon is everything OK?”

“Hey Tee, yeah everything is fine. I just called the sitter to say goodnight to Angie and she told me that Angie was with you. Did something happen? I thought you were going to Tasha’s party with Kate?”

“Everything is fine. We are both fine. I brought Angie to the party. She didn’t want to stay with the sitter. She really misses you. I didn’t feel right with both of us leaving her tonight.”

    “I’m sorry.”

“No need to be sorry. She’s fine now. She had a good time hanging out on the beach and playing with Jenny’s dog. We went swimming for a bit and did sand art. We’ll be heading home soon.”

Angie is a few feet away playing with Shane and Sounder II. Tina calls to her.

“Angie, momma wants to talk to you.”

Angie comes running full speed and grabs the phone.

    “Hi momma”

“Hi baby, how’s my big girl?”

    “Good.”

“Are you having fun at the beach?”

Yeah. I went swimming and I was playing with Auntie Shane and Sounder II. We had a lot of fun. Sounder II chased me and he fetched the ball and he went to swim with me too.”

“Sounds like you had a great time.”

“Can we get a dog momma?”

“Well, honey that’s something we’ll need to talk about with mommy when I get back.”

“Momma when are you coming home? I really miss you.”

“I miss you too baby. I’ll be home soon.”

“I was crying for you today.”

    “Why were you crying?”

“Because I missed you so much but Mommy made it better.”

“Really. How did she do that?”

“She asked me think about all the things I missed about you, then she made me draw them.”

    “How?”

“We drew in the sand with a stick.”

“So you did sand art. What kind of pictures did you draw?”

    “Hold on a minute.”

Turning to Tina, Angie asked if she had already sent the pictures to Bette. Tina responded that she had and they were in Bette’s email.

    1. Why didn’t Bette see that Tina was her heart? The whole thing with Jodie was just wrong. No chemistry, no real love. Keep looking at the pictures Bette util you come to your senses. Thanks for posting.
