“Well if we get a dog it would probably have to stay at your place. You have more room plus the yard. Are you ready for that full time? Does Jodi even like dogs?”

At the mention of Jodi’s name Bette was reminded of the reason she was in New York and not in Los Angeles with Angie and Tina.

“I don’t know if Jodi likes dogs or not but I really don’t care Tee. If we decide to get one for Angie I’ll take care of it. It’ll be good company when she is not with me. We’ll talk about it more when I get home OK?”

“OK. So have you seen or spoken to Jodi yet?”

“No. I thought I would surprise her with the sign at the site tomorrow morning.”

“Have you thought about what you are going to say?”

“I’ve been thinking about it but haven’t really come up with anything yet. Do you have any suggestions?”

“I should have never let you go…”

    “What? What did you say?”

    “What?”

“What did you mean you should have never let me go?”

“Oh Sorry I wasn’t saying that about me. I was suggesting that you tell her ‘I should have never let you go’ then say something like ‘I’m not afraid to make a fool of myself. I would do anything for another chance.’ How does that sound?”

“It sounds like something I would love to hear someone say to me. Do you think it will work?”

“Well, if she doesn’t take you back after this grand gesture then she’s a fool and I’m giving her more credit than she deserves.”

    “Thanks. Hey Tee …”

    “Yeah?”

“Nothing. Just thank you. Listen it’s getting late. I better let you go.”

“Yeah. I need to get Angie home. Will you call us tomorrow?”

“Sure thing. I’m just not sure what time but I will call before Angie’s bedtime.”

    “OK. Good luck.”

“Thanks. Thank you for everything. You’ve been a really great friend through all of this. I love you.”

    “I love you too Bette.”

    “Kiss Angie for me.”

    “I will. Good night.”

After Bette and Tina end their call Tina goes to get Angie. They bid everyone goodnight and head home. In the meantime Bette gets ready for bed but before she turns in for the night she watches the images again on her iPad hoping that she made the right decision by coming to New York.

    1. Why didn’t Bette see that Tina was her heart? The whole thing with Jodie was just wrong. No chemistry, no real love. Keep looking at the pictures Bette util you come to your senses. Thanks for posting.
