    Bette arrive at a beautiful home 30 minutes outside of Paris.
    She paid the taxi and approached the door. A couple of quick raps of her knuckles on the door brought a beautiful young woman to open it.

    Chapter 3

     

    Bette’s arrival into Charles De Gaulle airport meant she was just that much closer to achieving her goal of turning the art world in the US on it’s respective ear.

     

    While living in Paris after college Bette had lived in a small apartment in the Latin Quarter, an area that was almost as much home as LA was. So she again found herself in the same area feeling good about the outcome of this trip. Once she was settled and had had a moment to relax, she made the call. She dialed Giselle’s number.

     

    “Allo, Giselle Dubois.”

     

    “Hello Giselle, it’s Bette Porter.”

     

    “Yes, hello Ms. Porter. You have arrived?”

     

    “Yes Giselle, I am in Paris. Could you put me through to Ms. Kennard?”

     

    “My pleasure. One moment please.”

     

    “Thank you Giselle.”  Again a long silence as Giselle conferenced in Tina.

     

    “Bette, hello. You wasted no time I see.”

     

    “You said it was convenient now so, I am here now.” Bette’s voice was light. Her excitement was only tempered by the jet lag she was suffering from.

     

    “Well I suggest that you take the rest of this day to acclimate your body and mind and we will see you tomorrow. Call Giselle when you are ready to face the day.”

     

    “Thank you Tina. we’ll speak tomorrow then.” The call disconnected and Bette flopped down on her bed. No matter how many times she made the flight, first class or no, it was still a long flight. She was ready for a nap.

     

    After a couple of hours of much needed napping, Bette’s hungry stomach let itself be heard. She changed into jeans, a light sweater and good walking shoes as she was going to head up the hill to a favorite little bistro. She had missed her nearly daily croque-monsieur. The Parisian staple and a cup of tea were all she could think about at this moment. Being so near to the Sorbonne, the college kids were hanging out and Bette sat peacefully outside, in front of the bistro, enjoying her sandwich and tea and knowing tomorrow was going to be a great day.

    Bette’s room phone rang stealing her away from the mirror in her bathroom. “Hello.”

    4. I get the feeling that while Bette is trying with all her soul to get Tina to show her work in LA, Tina is wanting to get to know Bette for a different reason. Maybe it was Tina who googled Bette.

    9. Delightful chapter, i can appreciate how this story starts off, Bette acknowledge that Tina is beautiful but the work is what initially is bringing them together… then later I am guessing it develop into something more. This is a different take.. Keep posting

And it is really interesting what will happen next, I cant predict exactly what can happen, so it makes everything even more interesting..
