    Bette arrive at a beautiful home 30 minutes outside of Paris.
    She paid the taxi and approached the door. A couple of quick raps of her knuckles on the door brought a beautiful young woman to open it.

     

    “Good morning Ms. Porter, this is Giselle contacting you on Ms. Kennard’s behalf.

     

    “Good morning Giselle.” Bette was ecstatic to get the call and Giselle’s voice was beautifully French first thing in the morning.

     

    “Ms. Porter, Ms. Kennard invites you to a late morning breakfast if you haven’t already eaten.”

     

    “I haven’t. I would love to join her for a late breakfast. Where shall I meet her.” As Giselle gave her the address and directions, Bette couldn’t  help but smile. She was going to have breakfast with possibly one of the most important living artists. She found her heart racing at the thought.

    In LA the girls were gathering at the Planet and settling in for some quality chat time. Dana, Shane and Alice were there and the previously missing Helena was on her way. Kit waved to them one by one as they had arrived and was waiting to see if Helena arrived before she told them of Bette’s trip.

     

    “So where’s Porter?” Alice asked. “I left her a voice mail about Tina Kennard. I’ve got dirt!” As she finished her sentence Helena arrived at the table.

     

    “You have dirt on whom my dear?”

     

    “Tina Kennard.”

     

    “Tina     Kennard     the     artist?” Helena’s words drew slowly out of her mouth.

     

    “Yeah, that Tina Kennard. Do you know her?”

     

    “Mummy just acquired one of her pieces. She is amazing, a bit eccentric as I understand it, but beautiful.” 

     

    “Well, leave it to mummy to have her work. Did she actually meet her. Does she know her?” Alice wanted any crumb of information she could get.

     

    “Mummy and I both met her last year in Brussels. She is stunning.”  The memory brought a smile to Helena’s face.

     

    “Did you know she is GAY?” Alice emphasized the word gay purely to see the reactions of everyone at the table.

     

    “Who’s gay?” Kit asked as she approached the table. “Well, besides all of you.”

     

    “Tina Kennard is gay. Did any of you know that.?” Everyone at the table seemed less interested in the news than Alice was. “Guys, Bette needs to know this. It might help her get Tina’s art here if she takes her on one of the infamous Bette Porter magical mystery mattress rides.”

    4. I get the feeling that while Bette is trying with all her soul to get Tina to show her work in LA, Tina is wanting to get to know Bette for a different reason. Maybe it was Tina who googled Bette.

    9. Delightful chapter, i can appreciate how this story starts off, Bette acknowledge that Tina is beautiful but the work is what initially is bringing them together… then later I am guessing it develop into something more. This is a different take.. Keep posting

    10. I think Tina is definitely HOT for Bette,she keeps trying to come up with reasons to meet with Bette. It would be interesting to know whats going on in Tina’s mind from her point of view

And it is really interesting what will happen next, I cant predict exactly what can happen, so it makes everything even more interesting..
