    Say So: Part 10

"I’ll get it!" Tina yelled out as she walked to the door. She opened it up to see a familar face, a face she hadn’t hoped to see, "Jodi."

"Tina. Where’s Bette?" Jodi’s eyes darted between Tina and Tom as Tom began interpreting while Tina spoke.

"She’s putting the baby down for her nap. What do you need?" Tina placed her hands on her hips. Defense mode.

"I need to speak with Bette."

"I don’t think Bette really wants to speak to you."

    "And you know that because?"

"Because I was here with her all night and I know about your little text messages regarding, or rather disregarding, Bette’s lifestyle."

"Fuck you, Tina! You don’t know what’s going on!" Jodi yelled at Tina, rather than signed.

"Tina, what’s going on?" Bette asked as she rounded the corner, seeing Jodi, "Jodi? What are you doing here?"

They began signing to one another, so fast that Tina couldn’t keep up if she knew sign language. Tom stood beside Tina and began whispering to her what was being said.

"Jodi is saying that she loves Bette and can’t believe she’s leaving her for someone who hurt her so deeply, that would be you. Bette is telling her that she doesn’t know the beginning of the history that you two share and that Jodi never loved her. Now, Jodi’s saying that she does love her. And Bette says she’s not in love with her, though, because if she was she’d accept the fact that she had a like before her with Angelica and you. Jodi says she doesn’t understand why Bette doesn’t have time for them both, meaning Angelica and herself. Bette says that its not thats simple, you have to understand that having a kid is her number one priority and she loves Jodi, but she’s in love with you. This is where she needs to be."

Jodi stuck up her middle finger.

"That doesn’t need an explanation, Tom." Tina said walking up to Jodi, "If I ever see you around here again, I’ll personally see to it that you never walk again. Do you understand?" Tina placed herself in front of Bette, holding Bette’s hand and making it visible to Jodi. She had never fought for Bette before, but she was ready and willing right now. Jodi just shook her head and left out the door with Tom following.

Tina turned back to Bette, who had tears in her eyes. She knew it was hard for her to break anybody’s heart, even if she only knew them for a short time. It was even hard for her sometimes to turn down random women in clubs because she knew it would hurt them to some extent. She couldn’t help it, she was a woman-lover, and just loved to make happy.

    "Are you okay?" Tina asked.

"I’m going to be okay. It’s just hard, but I knew it had to happen." Tina held onto Bette, running her hands down the length of her back.

"You’re right. It had to happen. Even if we weren’t getting back together, she wasn’t ready for the type of relationship that you were." Tina kissed her shoulder, "I’ll make you forget about it for now." Tina said, that hint of desire in her eyes.

Bette had that same look in her eyes. She was finding it increasingly more sexy, this new Tina. This Tina, that stood up for her, hit on her mercilessly, and took advanatage of her as much as she could. She loved this.

"We can’t wake up the baby." Bette said, almost teasingly. The only way Angelica could stop them was if something had happened to her.

"Well, I suggest you stay quiet my love." Tina dragged Bette to the bedroom. She wanted to erase any amount of pain or anguish caused by Jodi away from Bette, though she knew this would not be the last time she saw Jodi.

    1. Hi there, took me time to catch up with you on this story… nice though… I can’t not think that if Tina had fought for Bette this way with Candace at the end of Season I… everybody wouldn’t be trying to make them back together after 3 seasons of “Hell”… ;-))I really like your stories very much… your writing is vivid, and not too much drama… it’s nice :-)) I’m not a Tibette of Helebette shipper… I just love happy people, especially when it comes to Bette…

    2. Ok, I’ll leave a comment on this story cause your other story (Lately) is just to much for my Tibette heart. But this one is a serious 180, so sweet. I was hoping jodi would walk in after they had fallen asleep on the couch or something – a picture is worth a thousand words they say! anyway, great update, keep em coming!

    3. Way to go Tina, fight for your woman and family. All Tina has to do is show Bette that she has not made a mistake because jodi will make herself look like a jerk.

    4. This Tina is assertive and sexy as hell! Go and claim your wife Tina and make her forget all about Jodi. Hell, make her forget her own name while your at it!! Ciao.

    5. Where’s this Tina on the show.I so wish she’s do something like this. Cos facts are Bette probably does love Jodi, but she is now and will always be in love with Tina. I don’t think Jodi will go away quietly but I’m sure Tina will make sure she goes away.

    6. WOW!!!! It was great to see Tina stand up for Bette and fight for the woman she loves. I do hope that we get to see Tina kick Jodi’s ass and hard. Thanks PPS Great Chapter

    7. I like the acceptance from Bette that she did love Jodi.. Because, I think that Jodi sort of opened her up more, challenged her.. But it’s a different love to that which she holds for Tina. And I’m glad that Jodi happened so that they could both open their eyes to each other. Tina standing up for her woman was lovely. And their flirting, sweet conversations.. they all warm my heart :) Thanks for this, Ash. Post soon, ADx

    8. Well I do love a s strong alpha Tina I wish TLW would do a couple of scenes of her like that this season coming… but I doubt it…Thanks for posting I am loving your story please post real soon.

    9. Even if it’s not the last time Jodi and Tina meet, my money is always on Tina. I love when she’s ready to throw down for Bette. And I do think she’s willing to fight dirty. TEAM TINA!! Anyway, thanks for the update, ash. Post soon!
