“I don’t know but I heard Alice’s voice” Tina said.
“Hey Shane did you hear that?”
“Yeah it sounded like Bette”
“at least we know they’re here” Alice sighed. “But where’s Dana?”
Dana sat in a dark room with a light in the middle. The words kept echoing in her head. For the attempted murder of Kit Porter. Attempted, at least Kit was alive. But she didn’t try to kill anyone let alone Kit.
“Dana Fairbanks?” Dana looked up to see Detective Garret and another officer.
“Obviously” Dana sighed and tried to control herself. “I mean, yeah- yeah that’s me”
“Dana this is Detective Marshall”
“ok” Dana didn’t care what his name was, she wanted out.
“Dana could you tell us what you were doing at the planet?”
“I wasn’t at the planet”
“We found your finger prints there”
Dana shook her head. “Well I always used to go there, I don’t see why it’s a surprise you’d find them there”
“Interesting, you said you didn’t go to the planet, yet Detective Garret here tells me you did”
Dana glared at him. “Well Dana you did tell me you were there earlier and that you spoke to Kit and that she kicked you out?” Haven raised his eyebrows and hid a grin. Dana got pissed.
“Why you son of- Dana shook her head. “We were all there with Kit, she kicked us all out. I wasn’t alone with Kit at all in fact I was with 5 other people all day. There is no way I could have attacked Kit!”
Detective Marshall nodded. “Well our evidence says other wise, and after we question the others and get a statement from Kit Porter if and when she comes out of that coma we’ll get to the bottom of this, for now we’ll be holding you for further questioning”
“Haven you know I didn’t do this”
“Hey, the evidence doesn’t lie Dana” he smiled.
“you bastard!”
Dana got up. Haven shook his head. “Now I would watch it if I were you Dana, you wouldn’t want any MORE charges now would you? Assaulting a cop? He shook his finger at her.
