Alice pulled up to the ER. Tina was starting to hyperventilate. Alice jumped out of the car and ran to Tinas side. She jerked the car door open. Tina remained seated. She never moved a muscle to get herself out of Alices car. Finally Alice was able to get her out. Tina had become weak and her legs gave out on her when she tried to stand. Alice held onto her as much as possible. Tina finally was able to stand up on her own two feet. Alice very slowly helped her walk inside of the ER. A couple nurses and a doctor saw Alice practically carrying Tina, they ran over to them and took Tina. They got Tina into a cubicle and down on a bed. One of the nursed stayed behind to ask Alice some questions.
“What happened?” the nurse asked quickly.
Alices voice trembled. She stared at the ground as she relayed the details of what had happened. “Her partner left her. She had a break down I guess you would call it. I caught her cutting herself in my bathroom. Then she was sobbing uncontrollably. On the way here, she started hyperventilating. When she got out of the car, her legs just kind-of gave out.”
“Okay, thank you. Stick around, we may need some more information.” The nurse turned away and ran to the cubicle where they had taken Tina to tell the doctor what she knew about the patient.”
Alice wanted to stay with Tina, but knew it was more important to find Bette and tell her about Tina.
She took off running towards the nurses station. “Hi, I need Bette Porters room, please.” Alice asked out of breath.
The nurse typed a few keys on the computer. “Im sorry maam. Shes in the ICU, I cant give out that information.”
Alice sighed. She hoped that what she had to do now wouldnt take very long. She shamelessly flirted with the nurse. Five minutes later, she had Bettes room number. Now, she was on her way there. She knew Bette wouldnt be too thrilled to see her. But maybe she could get through to Bette that Tina does love her and regrets what she did.
Before Alice knew it, she was standing outside of Bettes room. Now her nervousness was starting to kick in. She didnt even knock. Instead she just barged right on in. Bette was startled when she heard the door. She turned her head expecting to see a nurse or her doctor, instead there was her former best friend.

i’m glad bette is finally opening her eyes. i’m not sure, if i want to hear about alice and tina…but i suppose it is ok, as long as b&t will be together eventually.

OK NOW LET FIND OUT THE TRUE WHY DID TINA CHEAT!
Ithink that they nedd to realize that they are both gravely at fault. Tina because she was in a committed seven year relationship with Bette, and Alice because she had a much longer friendship with Bette. Both Tina and Alice had made active choices to commit (in different ways) to Bette for a prolonged period of time and as such had and made a choice to betray their commitments. If is not going to be easy for Bette and their extended family to get over these betrayals. It is going to take a concerted effort on both Alice and Tina’s part to regain trust. Having said that I have no idea how you intend to explain this away, and if you suceed, the you need to apply to the G.W. Bush team.
OK Jen I came to your story late, but have cought up on all of the chapters and I have a couple of problems. First of all you don’t shit where you sleep, so I don’t see why Alice would sleep much less have an affair with her best friend partner and act as if it is OK. I mean when Tina first goes to confront her she is calling her sweetie and ready to continue the affair. Is Alice some how jealous of Bette. She says that she knows that she can not compeat with Bette for Tina’s heart so what’s up. Surely she knows that the rest of their friends will kick her to the curb for doing this. Secondly, why did Tina leave the hospital. She supposetly still loves Bette, but she left the hospital not knowing the full extent of her injuries. I am sorry, but if Tina rwally loves Bette (and I think that she does), the you do not leave the hospital. You call Shane or Kit to check on Bette while you stay in the waiting room. The bottom line is you don’t leave the hospital until Bette does. Having said that, you go and slit your wrist, now you are reaaly looking like a good candidate for a stable parent. Yes Tina is going to and indeed should do alot of crawling to get Bette back — more than IC had Bette to do in the show. I mean, it is one thing to cheat, but to do it within your on circle of friends—nasty and VERY UGLY.
