    Bette and the Barbara Grisham slowly disrobed and, momentarily, Bette could do nothing but stare at the beautiful body in front of her.  Redheads have a skin that is like no other and Bette hadn’t seen this beautiful color and texture in a long time.

     

    As she was gazing up and down her body, the Senator moved forward, took Bette in her arms and began to kiss her.  Bette loved her full lips and after being tentative for a few seconds, began to respond.

     

    They kissed everyway you could:  hard, soft, tongues, no tongues, sucking on tongues and lower lips, licking the other’s lips.  They were both beginning to breathe more deeply and they slid their hands up and down the other’s back and buttocks.  Barbara squeezed gently and pulled Bette closer and they could feel the other’s wetness.

     

    The Senator began to walk them toward the bed, not letting go of Bette and quickly they were both lying down.  She fit her body to Bette’s and looked into her eyes as she moved her hips against Bette and Bette began to lift her hips in response.

     

    She slid her mouth down Bette’s throat, reaching her breasts.  For a moment she pushed up, looking at Bette.

     

    “You are incredibly beautiful,” she said as she gazed down at Bette’s gorgeous body.  Bette swallowed, never breaking her contact with the Barbara’s eyes.

     

    “Please,” Bette whispered as she reached up and pulled the Senator’s head toward her breasts.

     

    As she began sucking on her breasts, Bette shuddered and then arched her back into the Barbara’s mouth to encourage more contact with those incredible full lips. This touch was so much more exciting than from someone with thinner lips. She kept pushing up and down as the Senator sucked and kissed and licked the breasts.

     

    Bette groaned and kept moving against her touch.

     

    “Please go inside me,” Bette gasped, afraid she would orgasm before she was entered.  And she wanted the more powerful climax she knew she would have with Barbara inside her.

    8. This was so much better than the show. I can understand why you’re depressed – what TiBetter isn’t – the way the show is going, the spoilers, all add up to a miserable waste of an opportunity and a horrible letdown. I for one, never thought we would have to rely on fanfic writers to find the fun in the L Word. In other shows we expect not to see what we want and to depend on subtext and fanfic about that subtext. But yet again it’s down to the fanfic writers to make a show bearable – and your fics have been a very enjoyable part of that effort. Well done on the award.

    9. Pancha. Congrats on the award. And I am done with the show as of now… There is no redemption and I don’t really feel the urge to toture myself each week now knowing the outcome.. So pls, pls, at least contiune with what is love.. So we can at least see the what could have been if FF writers and Fans ruled the show! :P Again congrats on the award.

    12. i think illene has something up her sleves with bette and tina. i think she is doing this because the character ofbette porter is pregnant. and laurel said in a tv guide interview that things are not what they seem in s3 right that seems true.

Please keep going with the Shouldas as good fanfic is truly a lifeline for many of us who would have tossed out everything LWord after Ep.1. I appreciate you giving us hope.     35. I’m not gonna sit here and beg you to continue writing “Shouldas” even though I had wondered what was taking this one so long. Soon it will be to the point that there will be nothing to touch without rewriting the whole episode, and really who wants to do that even out of pure fun? I will say though that Bette’s fantasy with the Senator was sexy, yet it held the tenderness I’ve often seen in many Bette and Tina first times. And really, I think that’s more along the lines of what Bette needs right now. I mean, hell, she can’t even get a hug from Tina. At this point I’m shocked the finger suck on the show didn’t send Bette into orgasmic shock. At any rate, don’t feel pressured to pimp out any material if you aren’t feeling it. But if you do decide to write, I’ll read it.
