    Something so right

    Chapter 97

    Tina came out of the shop carrying the bag containing Bette’s new boots. It had been a good laugh to kit Bette out – she’s also bought her a “proper “ farm works shirt – durable but not that stylish – she’d even bought Bette a cowboy hat which she was now wearing as she followed Tina out of the store. Tina looked round and laughed again

     

    “You look different “ Tina said smiling

    “Good different or like an idiot different ?” Bette queried

    “Good – you are a stunning woman – you look good in everything. The hat suits you – it really suits you “

    “I feel like a country girl “ Bette admitted

    “You look the part “ Tina reached out and took her hand “It’s a pleasure to buy you things – after everything that you have done for me it’s the least you deserve”

     

    Bette smiled and kissed her softly on the lips

    “I like being a part of a family and I hate seeing you all so miserable “

    Tina shook her head “Its just tough to see them apart “

    They walked back to the car and put their purchases in the back of the car. Tina sat in drivers seat and Bette joined her

     

    “Talk to me “

    “I just want to know what is happening “

    “Maybe he doesn’t know himself what is happening “

    Tina shook her head “Its irresponsible for him to damn well just abandon the farm – its their livelihood. And farms are 365 days a year activity “

     

    Bette lent back

    “I can see how someone can get so desperate that they do just abandon everything and walk away. It is so out of character with your father “

     

    “They are both acting out of character “ Tina said “Mom seems just so brow beaten – -its not like her at all “

    “We are doing all that we can” Bette said

    “I know but we fly back to LA on Sunday – I would like to know that things are more sorted than they are at the moment. Mom needs help to run the farm all the time if he’s not coming back. If he’s not coming back does he still expect to be paid “

    2. Niall is a “baby daddy?” Mette I didn’t see this coming either. I must put in a word for Carolinians. We are not this screwed up. Well, not in NORTH Carolina. SOUTH Carolina, maybe.

    4. DAMN!!!!!!!!!!! Did not see that one coming. The drama queen is back. A new baby, Niall has been a very busy and naughty boy. Tina’s right he is a bastard of the worst kind at that. Can hardly wait to see what happens next. Thanks for posting.

    6. This is good for Tina to know because she has been soooooooo hard on her mother. I understand having been a “Daddy’s Girl”, but sometimes as adults we need to step back to see a situation clearer. Niall is VERY wrong for letting Tina condone here mother for dating young guys when he sleeping with someone younger than her. That is SOOOOOOOO low. Now they have to worry about ntheir inheritance, because while Tina and her siblings have put in hard work on the farm to make it a success, this new child can stake a claim to the profits from the farm. Now maybe Emma can get some support from the children she gave birth to. PPS :o). And oh yeah GREAT update Drama Queen. Oh yeah, the Queen is STILL on her throne.
